We got this to keep koolaid and lemonade in for the kids. Up until now we were using a plastic pitcher that didn't seal all the way. When it was in the door of the fridge it would leak out if someone slammed the door. This handy little contraption keeps my fridge a lot cleaner as it seals air tight. I love that the top can be put on any wide mouth jar but the jar that came with it is adequate and similar in thickness to my large mason canning jars. The actual lid and handle itself are a little more light weight and thinner plastic than I expected. The actual handle itself is a bit on the small side. This works great for kids and those with smaller hands but my husband doesn't love it. I hope that the plastic holds out for the long run because I do really like how this cleans up my fridge, literally and visually!
