good bit of kit
Did exactly what it said on the tin, plenty of power. , good bit of kit, I would contemplate the 240v if it was not being used on site.

Don't Buy It For UK Use
The winch is ok BUT you'll need a stepdown converter at extra cost to use it in the UK and a plug adapter too. There is no mention of that in the product description and was a significant annoyance and frustration. On top of that the converter came with a short cable as does the winch itself, the latter is far, far too short so I had to buy a USA specified extention.Having to use it with a complex set up is a ball ache.

Damaged goods
Terrible. I used it once and it started making a funny noise and hasn't worked since. Tried reaching out to customer care and getting no response from them. Have been on amazon for years and I reckon this is the worst experience I've had on it.

Powerful little winch.
Great little winch. Super convenient to have when you need it. Iโve used it to pull several full size cars up onto trailers. Itโs easy to set up and pulls pretty quick. It has a breaker that can be reset if you get too crazy.

How do Two Small Women with Big Hearts get a dock out of the water and up a rocky shore?
With a Pullzall of course! And a generator for the power source. We have a duel fuel generator, and use propane power, which is cleaner and easier overall compared to gas. You need straps that you wrap around trees and attach to the back of the pullzall. You also need straps to attach from the dock to the Pullzall hook. We had heavy wool blankets that we threw over the front strap connection in case it came apart, as per the instruction sheet. It was still hard work, but about 150 percent easier than if we hadn't had the Pullzall. The dock had two wheels at the end. To make the job easier, we attached two other wheels at the front of the dock. This is a great tool.

WARN does it again!
I am an artist specializing in production and large scale set design and often work with moderate to heavy steel and wood. I purchased this winch in order to assist me with various projects In my shop and with instillations for my clients. I recently had a project that required a dead hang lift of three cedar beams with a combined weight of 425 pounds and used the WARN 885000 winch to lift them 12' in the air, no problem for this winch. I did take it slow and didn't press the up button all the way (the one time I tried to speed it up it stopped, waited 10 seconds and it was lifting again, slow and steady wins the race. I like how the winch was constructed and the internal lifting cable was nice and stout. I gave it a 5 star rating, but wished this winch had a remote or even a corded controller so that I could be on the ground when lifting objects when applicable. Would also like to see WARN develop a battery powered winch at that size as well. All in all, great price point, well-built construction, and super light to move around from project to project.
