These work great, and hold up outside for walking. However they do run small - so size up.

These appear to be very well made and appear to be quite sturdy. However, the sizing description is completely inaccurate and these are way too small to fit over an air cast boot. We measured the boot and went with their recommended sizing and I highly doubt even the larger size would have fir over the medium boot I have.

I purchased these for a friend who broke her ankle and was going to sew herself covers for her medical boot. She probably could have done a great job, too, but I figured these would be faster, easier, and waterproof. She loves them and says they work great. She says they actually have better traction than the medical boot itself (which has rugged tread on the bottom). She's happy to not have to clean the boot every time she comes indoors. The pack holds a lot, and should make it through her entire 6 week or more recovery. Update: Feedback from my friend "Only one downside to the boot covers: snow or a mix of snow and leaves tends to stick to the bottom and ball up. It can make walking awkward and also makes the bottoms slipperier. The good news is it scrapes right off, but this is something I've never had happen with any other footwear. And yes, ongoing evidence suggests they really are pretty waterproof. I am finding them very very handy."
