Origami: A Step-by-Step Introduction to the Art of Paper Folding

I bought this to find some great patterns for beginners for a senior arts class. Worked wonderfully! Then I gifted it to my 8yo niece when she said she wanted to learn origami, and she loves it! I don’t have many chances to visit with her but every time I do now she gifts me a new little origami sculpture. ❤️

i bought this book to reacquaint myself with the basics of origami. The book is excellent for that purpose. The projects are rated one, two or three stars. Those rated one and two stars are very self-explanatory (learn the symbols and basic folds first!). However, those rated three stars are quite a lot more difficult, with some steps being less than clear.Overall, I recommend this book, as the illustrations and instructions are mostly good, and the quality of the book is excellent.

This book is so much fun! I'm an adult with very limited artistic ability and I had a blast creating little creatures with my kids (ages 5 - 13). I think the book does a great job of illustrating the folds, and if you need a reference on certain ones you can refer to the beginning section of the book which breaks down each fold even more precisely. It comes with a small stack of paper but I purchased more

My granddaughters, ages 4 and 5, can do the easiest ones and my daughter remembers doing some of the harder ones when she was in elementary school. I remember teaching my sixth graders some of them when I had time between classes.

The 8-year-old loves to try and make these. They’re still mostly too difficult for her, but soon enough she will get it

Perfect for my 5 and 8 year old boys. They are really into origami and were able to follow the directions and make 95% of these on their own.

Brought this for my son for something different to do rather than being on a console.. I think he will like it and it is simple than the harder ones so think we should be ok

Very engaging for my 7 Y old son who loved making paper airplanes. This has opened up a new world for him.
