Engaging story - beautiful words & pictures
Really enjoyed this book, especially reading it out aloud, as language so descriptive. Explained the story to a younger child by using the animal characters' so well. Illustrations amazing and my child wanted to look at all their details before turning each page. Highly recommended.

Vlad and the Great Fire of London
Wonderfully written and illustrated book which is very educational. My child is studying the great fire of london and the great plague at school and had told me all about this book from school. He was over the moon when I found it here and ordered it. It arrived in perfect condition.

Brilliant book, I loved how it was written from the flea's perspective. My year 2 class enjoyed it and produced some great writing too.

Excellent introduction to history for a seven year old
Excellent introduction to history for a seven year old.. I thought the reference to Samuel Pepys was a clever ploy to extend a child's knowledge of events at the time of the Great Fire. The art work was excellent in my opinion, particularly since it was drawn by a seventeen year old student I believe, who must have a natural talent which bodes well for his future career. Recommended by John.

Lovely book. Used in year 1.
Love this little book. Used with a year 1 class and they loved it. Not much factual reference to the actual fire so cannot use for writing about historical events, but loved it was a fictional story for children.
