Got these due to multiple failures on the swivels of a cheaper model. The catfish were straightening out the swivels and pulling the hooks. So anyone catching cats at Milford Lake KS with 5/0 circles in their mouth, your welcome. So the swivel held up compared to the cheap model. So far no bends in the leaders and they are holding up well.

Haven't caught a fish on one yet. Can't say I blame the tackle but I sure have used alot of different baits that typically get the job done. Well made, sturdy, seem to be very reliable. Too heavy to run a Santee rig with but seem to function well for a Carolina rig set up.

So I ordered these for my son because he has a catfishing trip soon and he absolutely loves these 150 pound steel leaders.

I was highly impressed with the pre made wire leaders for my last beach trip. I forgot to make shark rigs and used these as a substitute. you can even hook two together to extend the length for shark fishing. I caught 6 4-6 foot black tip sharks with these on the beach. They durable and strong with a nice protective coating over the wire.

These are good I caught an 80-100lb Alligator gar using one of these with 50lb test. This gar swallowed my circle hook and hid uner some big logs and I almost lost him. The whole time the leader was rubbing against his teeth. In the end the leader was chewed up but held out well. These definitely are not overkill for gar and when choosing how heavy to go remember in the worst case scenario the leader will still get chewed up some, so you want it to be heavy enough. Also the price is very good for this product.

Had these for a few months since purchased and finally used them on a fishing trip yesterday I saw a barracuda near a school of pilchards and decided to hook on a pilchard an throw it to him and with patience and twitch my line to my the dead fish seem like it was injured the big boy grabbed and eventually ran off with it leading to what felt like a 7 to 10 min fight this "Barry" as we locally call them weighed 18lbs and was 4feet long it was the biggest one I ever have caught to date. The lead wire despite as you can see all the relentless biting held and did its job well. After closer inspection aside from the plastic covering only one single strand broke on the wire overall in my opinion it did its job well and when I get the time I will order another batch again.

This leaders are good, but the wire the clip is made of isn't good, to soft, I lose couple big fish yesterday because of it. The fish was able to straight the clip up. Other than that they are not bad
