Great all rounder
Very strong and good build quality! Attaches very easily to an x frame and can be taken down fairly quick if needed for transport! It extends in size to hold a range of keys!

Great 2nd or 3rd tier stand for your synths
Easy to put together, although there seemed to be ab mistake in the construction booklet for the strengthening bar, as there seemed to be nowhere to place it IF I followed the directions to a T. However, the bar in question just screws in to each end of the legs. Nice solid construction at a reasonable price. Bonus is you can purchase another stand for a 3rd synth. Which I plan to do, just would recommend something smaller. Workstation on the main stand jp8000 on this 2nd level, then a smaller mini freak size on the top. Cheers!

Good enough for hom use
Fits and does what it should but not the most robust of units. Ok for home usse but would not want to trust on stage

Excellent
Well made stable and easy to assemble. I used it on tubular rock jam stand which has 25mm tube. The expanding clamp fits easily into the tubular frame and expands to hold firm. Assemble as in the picture on the product with upright angle tighteners on the outside. The cross bar only fits one way thick tube to the right, players view, and adjustable extension to the left.

Just what I needed for a 2nd keyboard
I was a little worried when I ordered this as I wasn't sure if it would fit my stand. I had to make a small modification but it now fits like a glove, and holds my 2nd keyboard perfectly. It was easy to assemble and seems to be made from good materials. I am very happy with my purchase.

Incompatible
This item is incompatible with the RockJam Zfinity keyboard stand without modifying the stand itself. The universal connector is too small even at it's largest setting to even touch the sides of the square tubing of the RockJam. I am going to try to modify the RockJam by inserting some square wood to reduce the internal size of the RockJam. I shall report back and edit my review once complete and tested (see below). UPDATE: Well, I got it sorted but in the end I used two ends off an old x-frame stand I no longer used which also had rubber "feet" on them. I cut the ends of the tubing (which are round) at the length of the rubber "feet". Next I trimmed down very slightly the rubber "feet" such that they were a snug but not over tight fit into the RockJam and then gently persuaded these pieces into the RockJam using a rubber mallet which then made the RockJam a nice fit for this tier expander.

Don't trust it with square tubing
Despite the blurb touting it'll hold instruments up to "60lbs" (28kg in real money) I do not trust it'll actually hold that much once installed into my Z Frame. Despite the box stating it'll work in square tubing the mounting hardware is actually very small and, of course, rounded, meaning it'll have only a handful of millimetres of total contact surface area to hold very heavy vintage instruments. It's clearly meant for round-tube X-Frames and they've just slapped "square tubing" on the box without consideration. I don't want to risk it with thousands of £s worth of synthesizer. If you own anything other than super lightweight keyboards like the Minilogue or plastic home keyboards like a Yamaha PSR, then find something else. I bought it out of curiosity but it's just too good to be true and I wish I didn't waste my time with it. If you can afford two keyboards then just buy a Jaspers stand, which is what I wish I did from the beginning.

Pleasantly Surprised - but Amazon had 2 different version being sold under the same model!
After looking to replace my 2-tiered stand with a 3-tiered stand and realizing that I was definitely going to lose money doing that, I just happened upon this product. It's On Stage and my stand is actually QuikLok, so I wasn't totally sure if it would work. Plus universal equipment, in my experience, has been universally bad at replicating the quality of a dedicated product. I was very pleasantly surprised though! This extra tier fits very tightly and is extremely sturdy. I saw some bad reviews from people who said it collapsed, but I don't know how that could happen unless the whole stand collapsed or they greatly exceeded the weight limits. It's actually MORE sturdy than the second tier on my stand. And here's the MAJOR benefit: I actually have two 2-tiered stands and a 1-tier stand, all from different manufacturers, and this fits on all 3! That means I can have any configuration of tiers that works for my current setup. This is some of the best money I've spent in a long time. I highly recommend this universal extra tier. WARNING: I ordered two of these and was just about to order a 3rd, when I started looking at the reviews again. As I read them, I realized that there are two different models, and I actually have one of each. I never noticed this because one is on a Z stand and one is on an X stand. It seems that On-Stage, maybe after all the bad reviews, updated their item and kept the same model number. I believe Amazon's photo is of the older version, where the posts connect to the back of the keyboard arms (and probably where the complaints about rust and broken welds come from). The new models connect the posts in the MIDDLE of the keyboard arms (see my photo from another seller). This gives a different experience when it comes to adjusting and how far away the new tier is from the player. I have the back connector on the Z stand and the middle connector on the X stand and that works. If I switch them, the Z stand works okay with the mid connector (a little far away), but the X stand with the back connector does not work at all. The third tier hangs out further than the second, basically in line with tier 1. I still love these. Mine work great in my studio with no problems at all. I'm not sure if I'm going to order my 3rd one from Amazon though since I have no idea what I'll get.

Fantastico 2-Tier
