Just know this hair catcher does its job. Just be prepared to get your reading glasses on along with some tweezers and a tissue to pick out the hair from its lower section. It really traps all the hair. Still a 5 star review since I have a pop up drain and it fits perfectly.

These things really work! You can't tell that it's catching hair until you pick it up and see what has accumulated in the bottom section. I have short hair, so I was surprised to see how much was stuck in the showershroom after a few days. Try it!

Seems to catch all the hair. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it is so lightweight and is very easy to bump and move. My hair is long and it’s a little difficult to clean. I’ve found moving it from the shower and allowing it to dry makes removing the hair easier. If the manufacturer would figure out a way to weight it or maybe install magnets to hold it in place. Still, it is 100% better than my old hair catcher that only caught maybe a quarter of the hair and let the rest slip under the device. I would buy again and I would recommend but I’d still like an updated version that isn’t so easy to move out of place.

It works well enough to keep hair out of the drain, but it gets nasty after a while (as you can imagine). No fun to clean or replace. Fit well on my apartment drains.

I recenly had a clogged drain and had to hire a very expensive plumber. So now I'm in the process of trying out various hair stoppers. I have 4 I'm using and this one is by far the best one. There are these little "teeth" inside the stopper that cathes the hair. I also think it helps that it is rubber. I have curly thick hair and it amazes me that I'm not bald. After every shower, I have a pile of hair that I've collected, hair that has come out. Anway, I didn't think this stopper was going to be efficient but I was wrong. I actually used this over another hair stopper that goes down inside the drain to see how efficient it is and that stopper never has hair on it when I use this item. If you have long OR shor hair or problems with drains clogging, you need this. It's amazing how much hair gets trapped. My only complaint, if I had to pick one, is it's kind of a pain to clean all the hair out - BUT it's well worth it so I don't have to hire a plumber again! I definitely recommend this product!!! I cycled through 5 different hair catchers and none of them work. I was about to give up and find a handyman to remove the drain stopper completely but then this zero-installation hair catcher came through and now I am honestly the so happy and restful in my new home! All problems solved! I have the type of drain stopper that cannot be pulled out or removed at all regardless of which tool I use. Because the metal stopper also jugs out quite a bit, all the other brands of hair catchers are not heavy enough or didn’t have enough suction and would just let the hair slide right through under it. I had to plumb it every month. I have seen other hair catchers online that has strong reviews but they all require me being able to pull the metal drain stopper out completely for installation. This new hair catcher has a design that fits right on top of the existing stopper and it is heavy enough to hold down because it has 2 layers and a heavy core! I observed it over 5 showers now and all the hair are caught in the middle suction layer! The other best part is that i don’t see the hair once they roll into the middle layer and it is just better when guests visit! Best invention for people who care about little home improvements!

It works well, but it takes a little bit of time for the water to drain through it in the tub.

This thing is fantastic for ladies with long hair! I have a grate-style shower drain that makes it hard to find the right style, but this has been perfect. It’s very easy to remove the hair for cleaning and none makes it past the device and into the drain.

Really hard to take the hair off the hair stopper. So I bought another one that it's easier. But it works perfectly for the intended purpose.
