Unit has failed after 9 months
it took me a while to figure out that in addition to scanning the QR code to pair this sensor with the starter unit which you must also purchase and the phone app which you can download for your Android or Apple phone that you also need to press the reset PIN underneath in order to get the unit to be both recognised by the starter unit and fully synced with the system.once I had done this and as the screenshot shows it's been recording a whole plethora of wind speed and direction data ever since.i think this is a very good product although rather expensive really for what it is and now that I have made the initial outlay for both this wind speed and direction sensor and the starter unit that connects to your home broadband router I am more than likely to be adding additional sensors and functions in the future as the main advantage as I see it of this system is it's expandability throughout the whole home in order to smart wire virtually every aspect of your home operation although I don't think I'll be going that far. After 9 months the outdoor wind speed sensor has failed additionally the indoor unit is perhaps the most Glitchy internet device that I have ever owned and it is a waste of a hard-wired RJ45 cable from my router if I'm being honest I have never owned a device which drops out so often loses communication between its sensors on such a regular basis. This unit clearly has not been sufficiently developed the outdoor sensor is now no longer working for wind speed measurement as the rotor has become too stiff to revolve freely in anything other than a very strong wind. Therefore I no longer recommend this product.

Great product, Blooming awful customer service
I bought this as a replacement for a gauge included in a TFA weather hub starter kit. The original gauge, less than six months old) kept dropping signal for long periods so no rainfall logging. Contacted Blooming Weather (the UK re-seller of TFA) wrt a replacement, but they were initially unresponsive. After further emails to TFA and Blooming Weather, eventually Blooming responded, offering a discounted replacement but they failed to follow up. Blooming dreadful customer service, you shouldn’t have to deal with these days. Overall the TFA Weather Hub system is a great product and for the price it was worth the hit and buying this sensor again. it’s a shame post sales support has been lacking.

Flimsy but good software
Why only 3 stars when it does its job? Well, the first one flew off its mountings in a 20mph gust and disintegrated so this was no. 2. The anemometer arms are extremely flimsy compared to others I've had and the mounting straps snapped whilst tightening due I suspect to them being from a bad batch. However the ease of setup and graphical representation in the app are excellent as is the ability to export data (via email). Long term test will follow in a few months.

Funktioniert wirklich super exakt
