We purchased the Catchy for the IKEA antelope high chair and so far I am a big fan. It was easy to install, it catches “dropped” food (thrown is another story,) and it is easy to clean. The price does seem pretty high for what it is (material/simplicity) but I am really happy with this purchase. Also, any large dog will think it’s their own personal trough which is ok in our household.

Was really back and forth if this product would be worth it or not but finally pulled the trigger and it has been worth every penny. As an owner of two dogs if food hits the floor it has hair on it and is done for, or is it eaten up by the dogs. This has saved so much food. It is super easy to clean and catches almost all of our babies things she tosses out of her chair including cups, teeethers and toys making them less likely to get damaged and easier to pick back up as well. Highly recommend!

I hesitated to buy the Catchy because of the price, but I decided my mental health was worth the investment and I have zero regrets! It’s been a total game-changer for mealtime. It catches almost everything (of course, the occasional flying food still escapes!), and it fits perfectly on our IKEA high chair. It’s easy to install and easy to clean. It has saved me so much time, stress, and mess. Even with the higher price tag, I’d recommend it to any parent, it’s one of those products that truly pays for itself in sanity!

Bought this for my grand daughter and no regrets, it’s the best accessory for the feeding chair! We balked at the price because it seems so simple and begged the question why so expensive! However after much thought, and months of use now, I asked myself how would I take the time to find the materials and tools to make my own as beautifully made and fitting as this? Before we were just using a towel underneath the chair, eh still a lot to deal with. Just buy this, you’ll forget about the cost after a month or two. After a few months of use , this food catch tray has made life so much easier for my daughter, clean up is much easier and more contained. Well worth the price!

I wasn't sure how well this was going to work out when first purchased and we had to take apart the highchair to get it on. It's been a huge blessing though. It's easy to wipe and clean and catches whatever is chucked over by the baby and has saved my floors. It's a little expensive but so far it's been worth it.

I was hesitant about this thing. But since we started solids and the baby is in the “throw everything on the floor” phase, it’s so helpful. Assuming the catchy is clean, we can just give her the spoon/bowl/cup whatever right back, and the floor stays clean. Our dog is tall so he can reach into it, but luckily he’s not very food motivated so that’s not an issue for us.

Update - after returning the damaged product to Amazon, the manufacturer reached out and offered to send us a new one. The product we received from the manufacturer was packaged very differently than what we received from Amazon, and based on the packaging and condition, we believe the first item we received was a damaged and returned item from Amazon. The new item was able to be assembled easily and appears to do it what it is intended. It sits very high on the chair, so will have minimal use as our child grows as it cannot be lowered without cutting off our own holes interferes with the anti-choking foot rest. Overall, it remains a good idea, but the $60 price point of the product is triple the $20 cost of the high chair. Horrible! We received our product damaged (torn). A great idea, but it’s just cheap flimsy plastic with holes punched out and seams for bending that are weak points. Don’t recommend! Poor quality especially for the price.

Love my catchy! I know it seems like overkill, but I see this purchase as an investment in my own sanity. It’s so nice not to have to stress about my baby throwing things on the ground - I can actually relax while she’s eating instead of staying on edge watching for her pre-yeet position. I bought the IKEA Antilop model and was able to jimmy it up to fit my Skip Hop EON high chair! (Just needed to make cuts in the leg holes to accommodate larger diameter.) Love!!

This was a lifesaver during the first months of solids with my son! Save your floor and gives you time if you have a dog to retrieve the food before it eats it. It works really well until your child learns how to throw food far enough to miss the catcher... but that takes a couple of months, and by then the mess is much more manageable! I would buy this for every new parent I know!!!

Make sure you link the correct chair to the food catcher. Easy to assemble and keep clean. Good value for money.

Bought this for a visit from my baby grandson. It is supposed to catch all the food the child drops instead of it landing on the floor. It was very handy, worked well and saved me from washing the floor after every meal!!! My dog was disappointed because she lost out on the little treats that would have come her way!
