Must be some prerequisite of the film-making genre, but aren't there enough duff substandard cringe-inducing dragon films flooding the budget end of the market already? This really only just scrapes through as slightly better than Dragon Quest and Dragon Hunter by virtue of some near-professional quality CGA work, albeit many of the brief clips are repeated "reversed" to fool the viewer into thinking more work went into making them than actually was the case. The dialogue and acting are Simply Awful, the plot a mish-mash of cliches (including a blacksmith's daughter turned dragon-hunter-princess and an evil sorcerer badly cut-and-pasted onto inappropriate background scenes). Filmed on location in Bulgaria if you believe the end credits - more or less all filmed in the same field and bit of scrubby woodland, and only one interesting rocky landscape. Castles, fortresses and Sicilian marble palaces have a nasty "thrown together quickly" feel about them, burn victims are clearly boot-polished and have all their coiffed hair intact. Very little to reccommend this one other than an opprtunity to sift out the better CGA parts and perhaps make your own mini-dragon-dynasty compilatin from them.
