La Bella 820 Flamenco/Red Nylon

First time using these from La Bella, having already used and liked the standard strings. Again, an immediate improvement on the strings fitted when i bought my Triana last month and it transforms what is admittedly a humble flamenco guitar. Bright and clear, much easier to play and overall a much better sound. Phew! Not sure why but no 1 string kept unknotting itself as i brought up to tension. Maybe they’re very smooth? Also, the strings look really striking on the guitar as per my photos but i wonder how i’ll adapt to a colour which isn’t a million miles away from that of the fretboard. Sometime you do look and in some lighting it might be more tricky than clear nylon. But overall, i’d be surprised if these don’t become my ‘go to’ flamenco strings for the foreseeable! By the way I am left handed so the strings are 'flipped' - in case you were wondering.

Exceptional strings--very quick, beautiful, full sound and excellent sustain in particular the lower strings. Far better than tradional classical strings in my opinion--since these are marketed as flamenco.I am guessing they won't last quite as long as others but this is a very small price to pay for undoubtedly the best set of guitar strings I have ever bought. I normally buy daddario but I have tried fender and a few others and I am not a true expert but have been playing for over 30 yrs... Go for it!!! La Bella!!

These are pretty close to what I was looking for - something with brighter trebles for my rather bassy classical guitar. Unfortunately the third string's intonation was out and I had to return them for a refund, which I received with no problems.

I really like these strings! The top 3 nylon are wonderfully smooth, clear toned and responsive to rapid playing, yet very rich toned in centre register. Keep their pitch well.It's early days to judge the three lower strings they are also responsive and well made, but I can't comment on longevity after only a month's use.Hardly important but these strings were purple rather than red...

I have been using various brands on my classical guitar, I have been playing since 3 years and now getting in to flamenco. I was looking for something new with a brighter sound, far the best I have ever used. If you want a tense string, nice tone, clear sound please go for it. Worth the price, eventually the strings gives me the sound that I was looking for.

I didn't notice from the description that some of them were pink. I was surprised when I opened the bag. Quality is acceptable

This is the second set of these particular types of strings for one of my guitars and I am still in love with them! not only are they pleasant sights to see, but they produce such lovely sounds. The Red Nylon really stands out and the silver strings really shine. I did unfortunately leave my guitar on the balcony overnight and the strings did get a little tarnished. All in all, I think these are great quality and value strings. They make me happy just looking at them and I will definitely get them again.
