Works a treat. Keeps the duvet in place and stays in place. On the odd occasion it can be difficult to remove one or two.

I had bought a king size duvet and duvet cover for my elderly parents to use on their double bed. I needed something simple and effective to stop the duvet from sliding around in its cover.I saw these on Amazon, and was rather sceptical, and they weren’t cheap, but I decided I’d give them ago.They are actually surprisingly good. One in each corner of the duvet and one halfway along each side. Ingenuously easy to affix and take off with the little magnet (make sure you don’t lose it!) I bought myself a set for my own duvet too. Bonus: Dad likes it because when he makes the bed, the centre “peg” at the top aligns with the centre of the bed head and it’s easy to see that he has straightened the bed evenly!

I heard about pinion pins on a 'homecare forum' and thought these could solve the problem of layers of bedding sliding off the bed during the night... For that purpose they work, but beware, do not pull the covers harshly or you will hear tearing sounds coming from the area of the pinion pins, everything is secured together and some fabrics cannot take it... A cautious recommendation, if your bedding is not too heavy... they do the job, but be aware, particularly if your bedlinen is precious...

Works very well. Best product for keeping duvet in place. The only problem is if you lose the magnetic gadget for taking out the pins you're stuck. I think they should give you an extra one in the packet. But overall a very good product!

Mixed feelings about this product.They do indeed keep the duvet in place. However, my son has ripped his new duvet cover by turning over in bed.My husband had rejected them on his side as he doesn't like the feeling of the huge nobbles digging into him. I have 2 on my side that seem to do the job.Younger daughter says they are OK.Perhaps if they were shorter pins and a double-pin design they would hold them in place without risk of dropping the duvet cover..

I have been wanting this product for years as I get very annoyed by the duvet getting lost in the cover. This was precisely what o needed.It's a little on the expensive side as I only received 8 and used 4 on each duvet, therefore only managing to do 2. I suppose you could use just 2 at the top corners but the bottom of the duvet would still be free to roam.Whatever you do, keep the magnet handy in a bedside drawer as you will not be removing these ever without the magnet.

I never write reviews but these are great .I was concerned that they would be tricky to use and might involve wrangling and result in fabric damage .But they are simplicity itself .In my heart I think it's crazy to spend £15 quid to keep my duvet inside it's cover .But ...none of my covers fit my duvets and it's a source of constant irritation to me that my partner manages to have a lovely thick cover and I end up with a flappy bit of cotton .I'm ordering a second set for my son's duvet .

Had a quilt that would roam its way to the bottom of the bed within a day. Lots of shaking and readjusting then I bought these pins. I chose the clear ones. Quilt remains perfectly in place and never moves and the pins are totally secure and you never notice them. Perfect product
