So I bought a couple of Tamiya rattle cans for a Tamiya model tank, and was very unhappy with the results. The pressure was too high the caps were poor quality and was very difficult to use effectively. Thought I'd try humbrol and the difference is huge! The cap is great, I know cans and caps and this one was a fine cap, with a soft edge, and controllable even out of a new can. I made sure the can was cold as this helps to lessen the pressure slightly without having to turn it upside down and wasting the gas pressure. Although spraying just gas will work, u will be left with some paint and no pressure at the end of the cans life. Anyway, the coat was easy to apply evenly and settled very nicely, it quickly dried into thin layer that matched the colour perfectly. I did another thin coat once it was dry to the touch, about 15 mins later, and again was a perfect coat. I tend to use short bursts while moving my hand, starting to spray before the cap was pointed directly at my tank model, and stopped spraying just after the cap is pointed away from the model. It's hard to explain in text but you can find advice and vids online no problem. This helps to get an even coat because if u start spraying directly at the model, u will have more paint in one spot. Just be gentle, and apply light streaks from differing sides and angles. The trick is to use very sparingly. Practice on something else first to get used to it, would be good advice. Very happy with these paints and will be using again for sure. Trust me this is great stuff.

Great spray paint would like a bigger van but can't moan because it sprays nicely just saves the hassle of setting up the air compressor thining the paint cleaning out the airbrush for a small scale model kit 👍👍👍👍

It's spray paint not really worth reviewing but hey how. To be serious for once (I'll try last the review), I bought this when I seen the extortionate cost of citadel primer. I used this as my primer for gazkrull thraka (waaaaaggghhhh (sorry serious time)) and it went on really well and very fine. It stuck on the model really well and I'll drfinitely use this again (in fact I think this is the second purchase I'm reviewing haha who knows).

Really convenient for quick undercoat of a model diorama and I've become a fan of Humbrol's acrylic sprays for that reason.

Used it frequently but haven't been able to find more. Bummer.

I bought two cans for a P40 Tomahawk project; I couldn't be happier with the quality and the finish. This stuff lays on so nicely. I will be buying more of this for future projects, believe me!
