They have been absolutely brilliant for my daily multimedia workflows, graphic design, and video editing. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is incredibly effective, and the sound profile is precise enough for heavy audio monitoring and video editing tasks. A few months into using them, the plastic headband extension arm accidentally cracked. However, this is where boAt’s customer service completely blew me away. I registered a complaint online, and their support team was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. Instead of making me travel, they arranged a hassle-free Bluedart door-to-door pickup right from my address. Within just a couple of weeks, they verified the issue and delivered a brand-new replacement unit directly to my doorstep! It is rare to see a brand back their product with such seamless, top-tier warranty service. If you are on the fence about buying these, absolutely go for it. Between the performance and the elite support, you are fully covered.

Bought the boAt Rockerz 551 ANC thinking it would be durable for daily study and entertainment use, but the build quality is honestly terrible. The extension/support joint on one side broke during completely normal usage while simply wearing the headphones. No major fall, no rough handling — just a slight flex and it cracked. Comfort is also overhyped. Long usage becomes uncomfortable, and the plastic build feels weak and cheap. Sound may be decent, but what’s the point if the structure itself cannot survive regular use? Definitely not value for money at the current price. Expected durability, got disappointment instead.

Broke in Just 2 Months. Save Your Money. I regret buying the boAt Rockerz 551 ANC. What looked like a decent pair of headphones turned out to be a complete disappointment in terms of durability. Let's start with the build quality — it's absolutely terrible. boAt tries to fool you by giving an illusion of a premium, sturdy build. Don't fall for it. The real weak point is the hinges — those thin, flimsy plastic joints where the earcups fold inward. They are shockingly fragile. Mine snapped during completely normal, everyday use. No drops, no mishandling — just regular wear. That's how poorly engineered these hinges are. The headphone lasted exactly two and a half months before falling apart in my hands. As for sound quality, it's just okay-ish at best — nothing impressive for the price, and the ANC feels more like a marketing gimmick than a real feature. And if you're counting on boAt's warranty to save you — don't. Their warranty claim process is a nightmare and they will find every reason to reject it. Bottom line: This product is a complete waste of money. I strongly recommend everyone to avoid the Rockerz 551 ANC and invest your money in a brand that actually stands behind its products.
