Best for beginners
Best air dry i have ever worked with, yes you have to keep it wet while using it but unlike other air dry clays ive tried, this doesn't dry out as fast while working with it Clay quality: amazing imo Ease of use: Very especially for beginners imo Ease of cleaning: Very Easy Why did you pick this product vs others?: Price

Worked great.
Great product, quick shipping, good price. I used it to make some repairs on a ceramic statue. I bought the gray because what I was working on was dark brown. That way it's going to be very easy to paint over and no one will know where the damage was.

Nar Nar clay!๐๐ค๐
This Nar Nar clay works really well for bark detail on the tree models that I'm making. Is the best air dry clay I've used. It sticks to armatures easily, doesn't crack, and is amazingly strong. Am liking it more and more๐๐

It need to have a mold release or just donโt use in detailed moldsโฆ
Itโs not good in the intricate design molds, even with a dusting of cornstarch the clay was totally stuck in the tiny nooks and crannies. But when some thin pieces that I pulled out dried they were a lovely paper like quality feel wise.

Darker than terra-cotta, but worked for repairs.
Works for what I needed, which was to make new heads on nativity sheep and missing dangly pieces. However, it's quite a bit darker than terra-cotta. Any repairs are obvious. It's not clay, like pottery clay, it's a polymer of some sort, a bit slimy like, if that makes sense. It does dry quickly.

Absolute Junk
The clay was very sticky and stuck to every surface like glue. Very difficult to shape, roll, or mold. After getting into roughly the shape I needed, it took nearly 4 days to dry even though it was about 1/4 inch thick, and still didn't dry completely. During that time, the model sagged under it's own weight.

Dries very hard.
Build the frame with foil and masking tape. Cover in nara. Smooth with water. Wash hands frequently. Use x acto knife and sandpaper when dry to fine tune. Comparison: Paperclay and Das are lighter and do not dry as hard as Nara. It is more like potter's clay.

Perfect Clay for Repairing
I am pleased with this clay. I caused a small break on my favorite pottery jar. I am so pleased to have this clay. The color is close. It molded perfectly. All I have to do is use touch up paint.
