I like the zipped compartments. The zippers are easier to secure than other models that snap. In addition, the handles and shoulder strap improves carry comfort. The bag is sturdy and large enough to store even a lightweight jacket.

This was the best carry on I've Ever used. I've always had black bags that are dark inside and can't find anything in. With this I could see everything and where to access my things. It fit everything I needed and wanted! I had snacks, candy, my small purse, a change purse, a surface pro, a folder with travel documents and passports, a coloring book, charging cables, earbuds with case and a blanket rolled up and kept on top. I kept this all zipped up! I didn't need the shoulder strap but kept it in one of the outside mesh pockets that has elastic to keep things in, and I ended up using it to carry through the airport with more ease. It slid up under the seat perfectly, even with the shoulder strap. I used the other mesh outer side pocket for my cell phone for easy access but really EVERYTHING had easy access!! I love this bag and will use it every time I travel and fly from now on!! This was the only bag I needed for both myself and my husband flying. Sometimes he would throw in his wallet, cigarettes and sunglasses. Zippers are good, straps are good, strength and durability is great. Everyone should have one of these!

After buying this bag for my daughter for a school bag...it didn't last but for 3 weeks before the strap broke on one side...lol...woooow
