It holds 16 cups. I don't know why they don't include that information on the product description!

Does this cake pan leak?

I made a German Frankfurter Krantz cake and it leaked. Could be because the batter contains 1 1/2 sticks of butter, 6 eggs and only 1 cup flour. Perhaps with a denser batter, it wouldn’t leak.

What are the three metal things on the sides?

Angel food cakes cool upside down. The metal prongs allow you to turn the pan upside down without smashing the top of the cake while it cools.

How big? cup size? will this hold the batter and not run all over the sides! help!

It will hold the standard pound cake recipe. We have used in a number of times with no trouble. If you exceed the standard, it probably would run over. I have no idea of the cup size.
