Continental Hometrainer Reifen 28' faltbar schwarz 2020 Fahrradreifen

Early days yet but this seems like a step up from the previous tyres I've had from other brands. It's notably less rigid and easy to fit by hand, and it doesn't shed tyre dust everywhere as other tyres do. It seems to hold pressure better too. So far (about 100 miles in) so good.

This tyre has very good durability as I've done a couple of thousand miles on this tyre and it still has plenty of life left. Good value for money, not too noisy but noise will depend on the quality of your indoor trainer.

After the first 500km there are small cracks appearing down the centre of the tyre where it runs against the barrel of the trainer. I have done a 250km since noticing the cracks and they don't appear to be getting worse or the tyre degrading. Pretty easy to fix to the rim if you have changed tyres and tubes before. Would buy another.

Perfect product for a home trainer. It don't heat and reduce drastically noise. I could only recommend.

I am assuming that these tyres are Continental Hometrainer II as they are not labelled as V2 anywhere.

Good tyre for the turbo

ヴィットリアのトレーナー用タイヤが寿命のためこのタイヤを導入しました。 回すとデコボコを感じたので、何度かタイヤをハメ直して検証したところ、 ちょうどHOMETRAINERとプリントしてある付近が少し厚くなっていました。 このため低速時には舗装路を走っているかのような振動を感じることができます。 この点は個体差と思われますので、滑らかに回る方もいらっしゃるでしょう。 静粛性はビットリアと同等、カスもでないので満足しています。

Uso la bici prevalentemente sul rullo, un Elite Qubo B+, quindi cercavo un copertone affidabile che garantisse un buon attrito con il rullo, evitando problemi di slittamento. In precedenza utilizzavo il copertone originale Elite abbinato al rullo, ma dopo pochi mesi di utilizzo aveva iniziato a presentare bolle e irregolarità, probabilmente dovute alla pressione della camera d’aria. Non fidandomi di acquistarne un secondo identico, ho deciso di provare questo Continental, e devo dire che non me ne sono assolutamente pentito. Al tatto si percepisce subito una struttura decisamente più robusta: riesco a gonfiare la camera d’aria fino a 8 bar senza che il copertone mostri il minimo segno di cedimento. La mescola è molto morbida e garantisce un ottimo grip sul rullo; inoltre, nonostante circa un anno di utilizzo, non presenta ancora alcun segno evidente di usura. Per chi fa un uso intensivo del rullo, lo consiglio vivamente.

I bought this tire because it was less expensive than the other trainer-specific tires on the market, and I'm very pleased with the functionality of it. One of the keys to keeping a tire from wearing out too quickly on a trainer is to maintain proper tire pressure as well as the proper fit against the roller. Just a tiny bit too loose, and you'll start getting rubber "dust" piling up under the flywheel. This means that even though your tire is in tight contact with the flywheel, it's still not tight enough, and is slipping a bit, resulting in the residue. I check my pressure regularly, and if I feel the slightest slip, I tighten the knob just a tiny bit until it stops. Because I do this, I've had no issues with tire wear, and it grips perfectly. I've put a few thousand miles on it this past season, and it still have plenty of the center bead left... in fact, it's hard to tell it's been used. Overall, I'm very happy with this tire, and will buy another one before next season, just to have it as a backup, even though I think I'll have plenty of tread left. Solid Conny tire, exactly what I'd expect in terms of quality, and so far, I've gotten more miles out of it than I normally do on my Conny road tires. My only complaint is the bead. Getting a new 23 on a rim has always been a bit of a struggle, and I punched holes in two old tubes before finally getting enough stretch to slip it over the rim. In 30 years of cycling, this is the toughest tire I've ever tried to mount. Be patient, work slowly, allow the bead to stretch a bit, and you should be fine.

Je n’ai pas d’autres expérience de pneu dédié aux HomeTrainers mais comparé à mon pneu d’origine (Vittoria Zaffiro Pro), c’est le jour et la nuit! Ce pneu est bien plus silencieux! Je recommande vivement ce produit à ceux qui roulent encore en pneu d’origine.

Über den Reifen gibt es nichts negatives zu sagen. Er ist ideal für meine freie Rolle geeignet und reduziert die Lautstärke etwas im Vergleich zu einem normalen Straßenreifen. Ich hatte etwas Bedenken wegen anderer Kommentare bezüglich übermäßiger Abnutzung des Reifen. Diese sind aber völlig unbegründet. Ja es entsteht bei den ersten Fahrten sichtbarer Abrieb auf dem Boden. Dieser läßt sich aber einfach mit dem Abrieb der Mittelnaht (oder Produktionsnaht) erklären. Ist diese "abgeradelt" lässt sich kein Verschleiß mehr erkennen. Ich fahre den Reifen nun seit ca. 2 Monaten täglich und bin hoch zufrieden.
