Performs as expected. Only issue is initial threading is difficult . I wrapped duct tape around end of the line to create a sturdy taper. Once done you shouldn't have to do it again

I previously ordered a different brand that comes in a 2 pack that did not work with 2 common clothes line sizes to replace an older one I had. Wish I bought this the first time. This worked perfectly.

If you want to keep your clothes line taunt - you will want this. It's very cheap with respect to what it does - so just get it. Once used, you will be addicted to it forever. As a bounus, it also makes it very easy to take the clothes line down if you want.

I was looking for an easier way to tighten my clothesline and these fit the bill. They work well with the 7/32" cotton clothesline. The line tightened and stayed tight, even after hanging 20' of wet heavy towels. I've had them for several months now and they're still tight. They might need adjusting after the winter, but that will be a piece of cake.

I'm thinking these descriptions ought to include ID measurement. I've used one like this before with my cotton clothesline without a lot of trouble, but this particular one will not work with cotton clothesline, only with narrower, nylon-coated clotheslines.

Defective Chinese junk. You really do get what you pay for here. This thing can’t accept any line since the tensioner balls are pressed into the shuttle. I freed them enough to use with a 1/4” pin punch and tapping the outer housing back in place once the line was in. More trouble than it’s worth in my opinion. If you can spare the space on your line, I’d recommend a trucker’s hitch to simplify.

Clotheslines were sagging. This fixed my problem. Very easy to use. Works well on vinyl covered clothesline. Lines are now taut.

A little tricky to set up. I did what others recommended - used a piece of twine to thread through the device combined with a screwdriver to push through. Took about 2 minutes.

Works as intended.

Does exactly as described. Makes threading a new line very simple. I took on board other reviews that said cord can slip over time, so I've tied the other end off too. Delivery was quicker than expected too, always a bonus
