I love that this robe has a true double lining with the waffle fabric on the outside and Terrycloth on the inside. The thickness of the two fabrics together is very cozy and feels luxurious, I would not want the fabric to be any thicker because it would make the robe too heavy. If you are looking for one of those ultra soft robes this is not the one. It is cotton terrycloth on the inside so it feels like a wash cloth. It's not going to feel as soft as the furry robes you can get. Unlike the furry robes, however, this one is absorbant and perfect for after a shower. This is a very long robe which is a plus for me since I am on the taller side and struggle with robes looking too short on me. I'm 5'11" purchased the L/XL and the length comes down to about mid calf on me and the sleeve length is perfect. I washed and dried it and noticed only minimal shrinkage, not enough to worry about. The fabric held up well in the first wash. I would buy this again.

Super high quality and perfect weight (not too light and not heavy). Hard to find ones like this with the waffle exterior and terry interior. Love it.

The materials are nice but it runs small.

The robe was definitely not worth the price. The material was very thin. The inside of the robe was a strange scratchy material, making it very uncomfortable to wear. Was also quite large, even though I purchased a small

I looked for a robe that would be similar in quality to the one I've owned for 8 yrs! This was the closest I found with waffle weave on the outside and a tight terry cloth on the inside (like a fine towel). Love it except it's huge (although I love the comfy fit of it) ! I could only choose Small/Med or Large/XL. I'm 5'2 and normally in a woman's size 10 and I chose large/XL. This robe goes to my ankles, and I had to fold up the sleeves to a 4" cuff. Perhaps after a wash it will shrink some...Only regret is I ordered only 1 instead of 4 (wanted to check quality first) and since the order took almost 28 days to arrive - the price has gone up $30 per robe!! Merry Christmas to me...

It’s expensive but it’s worth every dollar. Comfortable, fast drying, smells clean, and looks amazing. If you’re looking for something and want to get high quality for a higher price, this is it.

Very impressed with the material. Fits well and is sized well. Very comfortable!

The overall quality of it it’s good, but being made with two layer fabric, it’s s way too heavy for my taste, so I had to return it.:(
