No, you need to have both cables in place for it to be watertight, it will only function as a coupler.

Does this support 10gbps for cat7? description includes cat7 so i would hope so.

I do not have any gear that is that fast, so I can't really confirm or deny the claim. I does work to the 1 GBit level (CAT 6) though.

Trying to use this for gen 2 starlink cable on an rv. is there a version that would let you handle the ground wire in addition to the 8 conductors?

Not that I know of, but why ground the cable. The modem is grounded and you can ground the dish. I have lightning arresters only internet cable.

Very good outdoor connectors

Very good and easy to use. The way the gland assemblies take apart makes is very easy to get a cable with a plug on it easy to get plugged in and made waterproof. If you can some self amalgamating tape round it will help keep water out.
