I bought this for some solo travel extra security and I've stayed at four hotels since I received it and it hasn't worked at any of them! All of the doors fit the doorjamb too closely for this tool to fit. So, yeah, it's a doorstop alright -- just not the kind it was intended to be!

Bought this for safety in hotel rooms. The first one I was at, it didn’t fit. Even with all possible options. I know the comments clearly state it Durant, but I wasn’t anywhere new or fancy so I expected it to fit.

Tried at home wit worked as described but the hotel room I was in had doors with a different alignment of the hardware so it was a no go.
