I tend to research ingredient lists before buying products for my family, so I spent some time looking at this one rather than relying solely on the marketing. Overall, I came away impressed.The biggest strengths are what isn’t in the formula. It contains no parabens, sulfates, phthalates, dyes, or phenoxyethanol, which immediately puts it ahead of many mainstream children’s body washes.Instead of harsher cleansing agents like SLS or SLES, Aveeno uses a much gentler surfactant system (Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, and Coco-Glucoside). Combined with glycerin and oat extract, it cleans well without leaving skin feeling stripped or overly dry. The addition of oat extract is another plus since it’s well known for helping soothe sensitive skin and support the skin barrier.I also appreciate that it uses sodium benzoate as the preservative instead of some of the more controversial alternatives. I didn’t find any known carcinogens or formaldehyde-releasing preservatives in this formulation, which was reassuring.My only real criticism is that it still contains fragrance. While the scent is light and pleasant, “fragrance” is a broad ingredient category that can be a source of irritation for some people, especially children with eczema or fragrance sensitivities. If Aveeno removed the fragrance altogether, this would be close to a perfect formula.It’s also worth noting that Cocamidopropyl Betaine, although considered a very gentle cleanser, can rarely trigger allergic contact dermatitis in sensitive individuals. That’s true of many cleansers and isn’t unique to this product, but it’s something to be aware of if someone develops irritation.Overall, I think this is one of the better drugstore body washes available for children. This is an amazing face and body wash for kids! It’s very gentle on sensitive skin, doesn’t cause irritation, and leaves the skin feeling clean, soft, and moisturized without drying it out. It has a light, pleasant scent and rinses off easily. I love that it’s gentle enough for everyday use, and a little goes a long way. Love that Aveeno has created a body and face wash for kids. If you pay attention every single brand only has a shampoo/body wash combo. My children have sensitive skin and those others one don’t work for them. This Aveeno product is the only one that is specifically made for face and skin. Most women don’t just use a bar of soap for their body and skin or shampoo for their face so why should kids do the same? The biggest size bottle will last me about a month. Sometimes there’s a great deal, but honestly it’s worth my children’s comfort. It has a very minimal and gentle scent.

I would give the Aveeno Kids Face & Body Wash 4 stars because while it is a solid, effective cleanser, it isn't quite perfect for us. It does a great job of washing away dirt and grime, and I appreciate that it’s a convenient two-in-one for both the face and body. However, I’ve noticed it does leave my daughter’s skin feeling a bit dry after her bath, so we have to be diligent with moisturizing afterward. Additionally, the product is scented, which initially made me nervous since fragrance can be a major trigger for sensitive skin; fortunately, her skin seems to be perfectly fine in spite of that. It’s a reliable choice that hasn't caused any redness or flare-ups, but the slight dryness and the added fragrance keep it from being a full 5-star product for us.

I love the Aveeno products for sensitive skin. My toddler often experiences eczema and so the body wash was something I decided to try. Its been a wonderful treat and great on my son's skin. If you have children with sensitive skin, Aveeno body wash is the way to go. I give it two thumbs up!Me encantan los productos Aveeno para piel sensible.
