Oh man I love this. It is too small to fit over the onions so I just used it to hold them down and add a guide. Worked like a charm.

Bang for your buck if you don't mind smaller onions.
For what it cost this is a fine cooking tool. However as many have stated it is small. You better get an onion smaller than a baseball maybe even smaller than a tennis ball to use this. Does it work? Yes, shortly it works great just limited to smaller onions. Since its rarely used its worth the cost compared to kits 3x4 times mores money. Keep in mind not everyone has a very large fryers so this may be ideal for many. Pros: Solid construction Made cutting very easy Came with core cutter Very inexpensive Cons: Somewhat small so onions must be small If large onion is used it may get stuck in there as its almost like a crab trap closing in near the top

Easy to use
Looks can be deceiving as in the advertised photo showing a big onion blossom display, It's easy to use, unfortunately it is way too small, it's made for a small onion not bigger than 3" in diameter, it won't even fit a medium size onion as you can see in the photo and definitely not a big onion which is the size I use for the "Onion Blossom Appetizer" for the family and or friends, therefore it's useless to me for the purpose I bought it in the first place, I guess I'll continue doing it by hand and I'll use this onion blossom maker for a single person if I ever need it.

This is the lamest product I have ever seen... It has no blades, no nothing just some plastic holder that lets YOU cut onions symmetrically. I really thought there would be a blade that cuts the onion into a blossom. What's the point of this crap Idk. I am so lazy to return, but know this, I ain't falling another scam like this one, I highly suggest you to spend a bit more money and get a proper blossomer.
