This is my second pair of these boots. They're suitable for rural town and country use when I want to look "casual smart". Every time I need a new pair of boots I examine other makes but always finish up buying them from Clarks. I've never found anyone else that comes anywhere near the same quality of materials, construction and fit. I've seen some that looked like they'd fit my requirements but examination seems always to reveal that the sole isn't as robust or the leather isn't thick enough. Hence I always by Clarks and haven't yet been disappointed. Long may this be the case!!!!

I had a pair of these that were very good quality and very comfortable - they lasted almost three years and I practically lived in them. So I bought these as I expected them to be an exact replacement. I couldn't be more wrong.The soft long lasting silicone rubber soles have been replaced with cheap short lived rubber of the type you find in £10 shoes. The real fur lining was replaced with very thin and flimsy fabric. The leather is of a much poorer quality. But they still cost the same.I will not look for Clarks when I next need shoes or boots, they are no longer the company they used to be.

A really well-made boot, fantastic quality and good value for money - we spotted them on the High St where they were considerably more expensive. The rubber sole and leather upper are both very thick and pretty stiff, although will more than likely soften with time. The only slight issue with the boots is they're the tiniest bit too big, but as these will be more of a winter boot worn with a thicker sock, then they're actually a perfect fit in the end. Overall, really stylish and suitable for both smart/casual wear.

Good pair of boots & great value. Well made & decently welted sole. Have worn and no need to break in at all. I did polish up prior to wear as small marks on leather that buffed out easily. Watch sizing as usually wear an 8.5, bought size 8 and spot on. Comfortable lining and supportive insole are good to walk distances. Beat some of more expensive brands for quality & comfort.

Fits well, and they're warm. However, colour of leather was lighter than images shown in product info (see attached photo). Nothing a little polish won't sort, but would have prefered a dark tan boot as pictured, not a light tan.

Love my boots. They are good quality and a superb price for what they are. The colour is absolutely fine, it is hard to tell with internet shopping. My advice would be to track the price as they fluctuate

I adore these boots. They're everything and more that I expected. Fit perfectly and look so amazing for such a cheap pair of shoes. So durable, too – which makes them perfect for my long commute. They're a bargain and easily my favourite footwear.

This is a great looking boot and should age well but the first pair I got started making a noise, like a pair of bellows blowing air, when I walked after wearing for a week. I returned but unfortunately one of the boots has started making the same noise. I'm hoping that it will right itself eventually as these would be keepers without that annoying problem. Could be a manufacturing issue.
