3 Three Players Chess Set - LARGE - RULES INCLUDED

Well this is weird and confuses me totally but my son and his friends love it. It is well made and a very pretty board. Good value for money.

This arrived this morning - I am stunned by the high quality of the carved wooden pieces, and the nice board they are stored in. This is simply great value. Instructions included, and I can't wait till Christmas morning to start playing with it !!! Thanks Santa !!!

The board and chess pieces are pretty good - I would say 4 stars quality. From product point of view the small problems were some very small imperfections in the chess pieces, but also the closing clips which stick out above the board level.However - the real problem is the rule book. This is three player chess, so the rules are important. The center of the board has some design to get the squares to blend together, and the question is how different pieces can move across the centre area. The rule book is in many languages so you only get 1 page of instructions and 1 page of diagrams. The diagrams are the most important, because it's hard to see how pieces move across the centre. In my view the diagrams they give do not make it clear how the pieces move. I looked through the internet and couldn't find any rules on the company's website to print out, and none on other websites either.Now, if I was going to use this myself only, I could go to threechess.com and play a bunch of online games and get the hang of how pieces move across the centre, and if this is your situation you might consider this a 4* review. However I was buying this as a gift for my son's chess club at school and I know the students will struggle with the rules.

Great game, much more fun than normal chess. Adds little bit of betrayal and making alliances into the game. Highly recommended
