Product seems sound and very usable. A couple of the male plugs had a pin fall out the back, but easily pushed back in and clicked in place.Will buy again if I need more.

I got these to use with some custom landscape lighting fixtures I made that needed to be easily removable. These guys do the job perfectly. They are easy to wire up and they screw down securely and waterproof. I especially like that the plug itself can only get inserted one way so your polarity is always maintained. This is important with DC powered LED lights. Construction quality is good and you get a decent pigtail length to integrate them into your own wiring.

I've been messing around with a bunch of used trailers, swapping out components like lights to see what works best.I first became familiar with these low-voltage waterproof connectors when I got an electric bicycle. These are a bit different in that they are secured not only by the silicone o-ring and vacuum created when they are coupled but also by a threaded collar that sits over the junction when male and female pieces are together (so they are not compatible with our ebikes). They are, however, absolutely waterproof and secure, allowing for easy swapping of end components, whether they be deck lights, trailer lights, or whatever. Unfortunately, the tails are short, and will in most cases require fashioning a waterproof connection (solder and a waterproof wrap) as well.

Building the wiring looms for my hauler truck, and this kit makes it SO simple. I can’t even really come up with a way that is easier than this. They fit well, seem to fit well enough that weather resistance should be high.

Despite coming up as option when searching Amazon this splitter does not work with Nocqua battery connectors. The holes in the male side of the connectors are smaller than the Nocqua pins.

I had used these for two different projects at home. One was actually in my car to install a couple of sets of LED lights. I have a Challenger Hellcat Redeye and I put some eyes on it along with some grill lights and some lights under the hood. These allow you to create a way to temporarily remove or replace light strips, which is nice if you have a few LEDs go out on you. The next one was one a set of strip lights on my back patio. I used the connector to allow for a removable connection if I needed to replace or repair the strip in the future. It was a great idea and it really makes the LED strips replaceable when you have some failures. The weather resistance of these has easily been tested now and they have held up well. I needed to move the solar panel for one of my security cameras. The cord was to short to reach the closest full sun location. These waterproof connectors were the perfect solution. I took one set and replaced the originals, then fabricated a "extension cord" with another set. All the soldering and waterproofing was done in the shop. Installing at the new location was a snap. Just add in the new extension and screw it together. No soldering while up on a ladder.

I love how thick, and solid these are. The wire casings are beefy, and will provide solid weather resistance. I'm planning on utilizing a couple of these for external LED lighting on my car so I can quick release the connection without having to mess with what's already hardwired in. These are perfect for this application. just need to pick where you want it to separate and splice it in!
