Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredders Revenge - Anniversary Edition (PS5)

For anyone who grew up with the classic arcade Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games, this feels like coming home. The gameplay captures everything that made the original arcade titles so enjoyable while modernising things just enough to stop it feeling dated or frustrating. The combat is fast, satisfying and chaotic in all the right ways, especially when playing with friends. The pixel art is excellent and does a fantastic job recreating the look and feel of the classic cartoon era. Perhaps most importantly, the game understands exactly what fans wanted from a modern Turtles beat-em-up and delivers it without trying to reinvent the formula unnecessarily. The Anniversary Edition is an easy recommendation for arcade fans, TMNT fans or anyone looking for a fun co-op game. A fantastic return to form for arcade Turtles and one that put a huge smile on my face.

Purchased as a gift for my daughter and what great fun this is. A little tricky at times if playing alone but the more people you can get involved the better. 4 player co-op is immense. Not quite at the levels of some co-op games (It Takes Two) and a different beast but still a worthy purchase. Performance, graphics and gameplay are great. For those older folk amongst us that are looking for a bit of retro side scrolling beat em ups, this is the game for you.

Always great! great remake classic

This is a fun game. If you grew up in the SNES era and played games like Streets of Rage and Golden Axe, then you'll love this couch co-op game. I love that it has Usagi Yojimbo in it! He is the best character to play with.

Ritorna il picchiaduro 2d delle TMNT, in una versione arricchita che include i due personaggi extra (Usagi e Karai) già installati, per un totale di 9. Mancano i due più recenti (Mondo Gecko e Monalisa), ma volendo il dlc costa poco. Il gioco è ancora bello e immediato anche dopo qualche anno, pieno di dettagli in fondali e animazioni, modalità multiple, arcade survival etc. Molto più valido di raccolte di rom tipo la Cowabunga collection. Nota: questa grafica pixel art su schermo grande è abbastanza "secca", consiglierei di provare almeno il filtro CRT standard dal menu. Quando vedo effetti del genere penso "Oh! Ora sì!" Attenzione: rispetto a suoi parenti come Marvel Cosmic Invasion la lista trofei è molto più impegnativa, principalmente per due numeri da circo (finire Arcade a Difficile e un perfect al boss finale). E' possibile aiutarsi con dei sistemi online, se avete PSPlus. In conclusione, bel gioco, specie giocando in multi locale, e buon prezzo. Promette bene per il prossimo della serie (quello dei Masters).
