Just added a camera
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Already use the MyQ remote app for my garage door so when my original keypad died , this was a perfect option. Same app, same price, plus a camera. The battery life is not that great so I recommend a spare. Swapping them out takes a minute.

Solid battery
Got the my q opener and this camera is better than ring, wyze etc. Battery does last long enough so got a spare. Easy to install so no issue.

Takes a long time to charge, good to have an extra.
We have two of these garage door openers one for each door. We bought this as an extra battery, so that when one of the openers needs it we just put it in and start charging the other one to have as an extra for when the other opener goes out. It's easier to replace when you take it out, rather than charge it and forget to put it in for a day or two.

A second battery is a must if one depends on this keypad.
This keypad goes through batteries very quickly. Having a second battery is almost a must, if one wishes to depend on the keypad for entrance.

A rechargeable battery is an essential accessory for your myQ video keypad
Unless you go through the expensive process of hard wiring your myQ garage video keypad, you will need this myQ rechargeable battery. About once a month, I receive a message via the myQ app that my battery level is below 30%. At that time, I simply swap out the partially drained myQ battery for a fully charged one. The process is very easy and only takes a couple of minutes.

Perfect for a second battery. MyQ battery dies after a bit and having 2 batteries makes it so you can swap while charging the other one

Works as intended, battery life varies
Does what it says on the tin. Battery life varies between 30 days and 3 months depending on usage (frequent alerts vs off) and weather. I personally have all alerts off unless someone uses the keypad to get more battery life. Very easy to pair and set up to the opener, but will not work on a 5ghz network (will keep dropping). 2.4ghz works totally fine.
