Dr. Martens Men's Alfie Boot

Nice looking boots, comes in classic Dr Martens building quality, and delivers as promised. However, I want to mention and point out that the sole on this shoe is completely flat, and relatively thin - much like converse shoes. For some people, this is what they are looking for but it can also cause problems. A flat and thin sole means that you will very easily feel stones etc that you are stepping on, but more importantly it is not very ergonomic for your feet and body as a flat sole offers no support. I do not recomend lengthy walks in a shoe like this. They are more for appeareance than comfort and support. This can of course be improved a lot if you insert a custom sole with bridge support.Take care of your body, especially your back can suffer from 'bad' shoes.All in all, its a great shoe with a weakness in the lack of support on the sole.

I've always been a sneaker head, but have had a soft spot for trying Doc Martens. So not wanting to commit to a heftier price tag, I went for this model, and I have to say - I was not disappointed. I'm a size 9, and while it's a little difficult to quickly put on the boots, the boots themselves are very comfortable, and remain so after 8 hours of running around at work.This is a much more casual model than the usual pair of Dr Martens, and therefore has no steel toe, and is made of canvas rather than leather, but the trade-off here is in the lightness of these boots.Great casual boot, and a good addition for anyone going for the punk/goth/skinhead looks.Also, if you plan on wearing this in the winter, you might want to layer up on the socks.

Overall great shoes. I got them at a hard-to-pass-on sale price (only $37 in cherry red!!) at a time when I wanted to add a pair of red shoes to my wardrobe already.The first 3-4 days of wearing these shoes, they broke my feet in pretty badly, when I was hoping for the other way around. After that initial wear-in, these became amazingly comfy, and have since become my wear-every-day pair. I did put a pair of convenience-store orthotic insoles in my pair, which does add to that level of comfort, but in general I'm sure these shoes would still be great with or without.

I know I should have started my Dr. Martens journey with the classic boots but these caught my eyes.And I should have bought them years ago. Love wearing these and I'm even wearing them today as opposed to my nike roshe.They are very comfortable and I can wear them all day and even for work.They look legit with shorts and even better with jeans, khakis, pretty much anything! I haven't seen too many people with these and that's awesome!Always getting compliments, and oh are those docs?!I wear them every chance I get and they aren't wearing out too quickly.Don't wear them when you need to get your shoes off quickly, it takes a second. haha. (ie: a good date night)Anyway, definitely would buy another pair or the burgundy ones. I recommend these to all my friends.

The price on these for Dr. Martens is good, I found them for $80 at the mall. I like them, they are really comfortable. I ordered half a size up because I have wife feet and boots are often narrow. These fit me perfectly. The only downside is that for boots, these aren't great for wet weather, the canvas gets that white salty looking line around the base so you should treat them w waterproofing and try to avoid snow and puddles. They look great though, chicks love the red.

These shoes look great. They may be a little high for some people, but I don't mind the height really as long as I'm wearing pants. With shorts they look a little goofy, unless that's a look you're going for I suppose.My only gripe with these shoes is that it's really hard to get your foot into the top part of the shoe because it's super narrow. I had to stop lacing about 3-4 holes from the top to make sure I could move the tongue enough to fit my foot into the shoe. Once inside they fit fine and don't feel too small, but the opening to the shoe is just way too tight.

I had been looking for ages for a pair of canvas boots that looked not just like any ordinary trainers.When I saw these in my online browser, I was very keen to get them. They had black soles, rather than the usual white, and were in my favourite colour! Sadly, I realised they were not on sale anywhere here in the UK, but luckily my wife doesn't ever give up and tracked them down on Amazon.com. The were worth waiting for; comfortable fit, great colour and the soles feel super! We sprayed them with Nikwax water repellent first and that has kept them clean on a damp & muddy walk. Just brush when dry.I have had a few people enquire as to wher they could buy them. So top marks all round!

Fits just like a Chuck Taylor high top. Perfect if you like Chucks and have been wanting a sturdy work version. Pallet jacks have ran over them; metal has snagged them; constant abuse to them: no holes, tears or rips. Only blemishes have been from grease and chemicals. Unfortunately the soles are not as non-slip as the more industrial Dr. Martens are. That is the reason for four stars. A definite repurchase for me.

The shape of these is kind of all wrong. They are too narrow at the toe. I have blisters as a result.Could not find a wide version.Bad design although they look nice.

Me gustaron, y me quedaron a la perfección pero fue porque los pedí más grande de lo que normalmente uso, ya que vi varios comentarios que indicaban que venían reducidos, y si, efectivamente, hay que pedir una talla mayor para que sea la correcta.

Excelente producto, muy recomendable!!! Cabe mencionar que antes de realizar la compra busques tu talla en medida UK ya que la publicación no viene en MX!!! Por ejemplo los mios fueron 9uk y equivale a 8mx!!
