Each year, the library will set up an altar for Day of the Dead festivities. It is our way of help our students learn about other cultures in our community. As part of the display, you will place food for the souls who come back to visit the living. Since the library is keen on keeping pests out, we have chosen to use "fake" or plastic foods to represent the favorite food dishes. These mini tacos will be an excellent addition to the altar. The tacos are plastic and squishy, but very realistic. There is no plastic odor to the tacos. The coloring and texture of the lettuce is spot on. The tortillas are realistic when seen from afar, but you can certainly tell it is plastic if you hold it close up. Overall, a wonderful addition to our "fake" food collection.
