I loved this pillow and how soft. But my boyfriend slept on it with his oily hair and completely ruined the fur. I will try to wash it gently with a wet soapy brush but I should’ve known real fur can do this. Also, there are some patches on the fur that are bare and I have to comb it a certain way as to not see them. However, it was a great value for the money and if you use it simply for an accent pillow and not really sleep on it, it can be beautiful and soft to touch.

I ordered two black 18x18in rabbit fur pillow cases. I received one 18x18in case and one 16x16in case. It's hard to tell in my attached picture, but I placed the smaller one on top of the other so you can see how they compared. I understand that because of the pelts, the cases may not be a perfect 18x18, but a 16x16 is a completely different pillow. I attempted to put inserts inside; one looked fine and the other looked like an overstuffed sausage. The microsuede backing is rather cheap, and so is the zipper seam. If you are one to frequently switch up your pillow decor, you'll eventually end up popping some of the stitches. They do shed some too. Because the price of these pillows is somewhat fair, I'm returning the small case and ordering another. Hopefully I'll receive one that's 18x18.Replacement update: I received the previously mentioned re-order the following day (thank you Amazon Prime!) and the size was acceptable. BUT, as you can see in the pictures, the quality of this pillow case was very poor. As I pulled it out of the plastic packaging I was jabbed by a sharp staple protruding through the front. Upon inspection you can see that there are many "unfinished" parts sticking out that should have been trimmed, as well as exposed stitching that makes the case look Frankenstein'd. Again, I ordered a replacement. Fingers crossed I get a "quality" product.

Update:I bought two more of these pillow covers approximately 1.5 years after my first purchase. Sadly, the quality has gone downhill. The one I originally bought was much fluffier and held up well. The fur on second set wasn’t nearly as dense and luxurious, and one of the covers ripped when I gently pressed an insert into place.This pillow cover is gorgeous! The colors are a lovely variation of brown, gray, white, and more vibrant than I imagined. I deducted one star since little scraps of leather stick out and though it’s not always visible you can feel it when you run your hands through the fur. I didn’t experience lots of shedding, but I’m sure if I really pinched and grabbed the pillow hard I could pull out fur. See my second photo for an example of the little leather scraps that stick out. My photos were taken in natural light in front of a north-facing window.

First off I'd like to mention that these are the most perfect pillow cases I have ever bought. My whole house has at least one fur accent in each room. So naturally I'm doing my whole room in marble and grey/white rabbit fur.Anyways the feeling and texture of this item is seriously amazing. I couldnt be happier. However there is a SLIGHT color difference -more or so a color tint- which to me is perfectly fine. The color of the fur itself its spot on just has a light tan tint , when tilted or when the flash goes off (I added pics to show with flash, without and tilted each direction so you can see what I'm talking about) over all this is the best fur piece in have ever purchased. I bought two of them and I couldn't be more pleased. I will reccomend this piece to anyone and everyone who's looking for a fur pillow cover. I'm not sure how to clean it as I just got it today but it's a decoration piece so I'm hoping to keep it in great condition. These are pillow covers and DONT come with an insert. I'm definitely going to be buying more in the future. My foyer is tan fur so I'm thinking the tan fur pillows would look amazing. 10/10 A++ . I'm blown away by the quality of these items.

Looks just like the photo! Doesn't come with stuffing, just the pillow case. Totally recommend! and it's a good price :)

This pillow cover seems to be well made. The back is a suede material with a zipper about 7" down from one end which allows for easily stuffing with a pillow insert. Be aware that even though the ad says it is 18x18", it is acutally 19x19", so purchase your pillow insert accordingly.I am very happy with it, and the colors are very close to the picture.

This is 100% real fur. It sheds which real fur does, but I've had for two years and they are still beautiful
