My Cavalier King Charles is 17 lbs and I ordered a medium. It fits him perfectly and is absolutely adorable! Well made. We ordered human matching pirate tshirts so that we can be part of his motley crew for Halloween!

I ordered a large because of the description if sizes. The large is soooo small it would probably fit a cat. It is adorable though, just will not work tmfor the animal is as needing it for.

The costume is hilarious but the hat doesn’t stay on. Here’s how you fix that, no sewing needed!Needed: two tongue depressors and adhesive.Insert one side of tongue depressors into loops of red material on hat. Glue and let set. Then put it on your dog for a fitting. Mark where the other end of the wood needs to be attached (could vary based on your dog’s neck/head length). Glue the other side.Photo attached so you can see what this looks like.I used a black permanent marker on the tongue depressors so they will blend in.The hat will now stay on and upright!

It’s completely adorable, but with the energy of a mini poodle, my dog was able to run right out of it, and the hat didn’t really stay on much at all. That needed a better design or maybe it works for dogs that are less hyper. If the outfit had more stretch, it may have been able to stay on better perhaps.

The small was too small (for my 25lb dog which was surprising) but I was able to get the medium in time. The hat didn't stay on in the bigger size so I tied it but she still looked adorable. Got lots of compliments.

I don't even know where to start. This costume is a nightmare and has been a major source of suffering for my family for months now. We bought this, thinking it would be great for our little (43lbs) goldendoodle. We put it on him and we immediately saw a change in our dog! He uses the most TERRIBLE language now. All he talks about is murdering and pillaging coastal cities and sings "Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me!" 24/7. He's constantly swinging his hook around! I've lost two fingers this week! He's always drunk, has women in his bed and frankly his hygiene is atrocious. If it wasn't for the amount of oranges he eats, I'm sure he would have scurvy. I just don't know what to do. He built a tiny boat and sits in the bathtub every night drinking and shooting this tiny cannon at the bathroom tile-- IT'S RUINED! It's a downward spiral, and I don't think there is anything I can do to help him, as I can barely understand him anymore. This morning for just before breakfast he said "Avast ye, son of a biscuit eater! I be three sheets to th'wind 'n clear out me dungbie 'n th'head afor I put th' black spot on that thar hornswaggle who'l dance the hempen jig abaft, squall up som cackle fruit and be off with ye!" What on earth are we going to do? We're past the date to return this costume and he keeps pointing his "blunderbuss" at me. I think I'm going to move out.

I love this costume so much! Super cute! We bought size large, my dog is 45 lbs and a medium sized dog, this costume fit him perfectly. So pleased, and it came the next day, super quick delivery too!

I will say.. we had fun doing trick or treating on Halloween and people loved his outfit! But unfortunately not big enough for a golden retriever. His hat kept falling off no matter how many ways we tried to put it. I wished they had a bigger size. I would recommend for a smaller leg dog or a Cat maybe.

Adorable. We had a great laugh. The poor dog was not thrilled that we were laughing at him. The hat is fantastic!

Purchased a medium size and it’s a little big for my small pug but it’s not bad; will have to roll up the sleeves. Not sure how to keep the pirate hat on though as it’s very loose. Overall a good find!
