Works when you get a working one!
I purchased 2 of these. This on I returned as it did not work. The concept is great as unlike other units, the case plugs in to the lightning socket but provides a lightening socket externally so you can still charge by cable should you not have access to a wireless charger

Hit and miss with the charge.

lighning connector charges at less than half the stated rate
the wireless charges fine at 1a but the lightning port charges at 300ma which basically means it discharges fast than it can charge...rubbish!
