MUST READ
“I didn't want her. I needed her. Desperately.I needed her the way the ocean tides needed the moon, and I would give anything for her to feel a fraction of the same way toward me.”I just finished "King of Sloth" and I'm absolutely speechless! Sloane and Xavier have completely captivated me. I'm head over heels in love with this book—Ana has outdone herself yet again! This is the fourth book in the Kings of Sin series, featuring a delicious mix of tropes: forced proximity, billionaire settings, and a reverse grumpy x sunshine romance where he falls first—my favorite! And, oh my, it's fantastic!"King of Sloth" feels fresh and different, yet it still possesses all the elements I adore in Ana's writing. This series just keeps getting better and pulling me in deeper with each book. I'm always left eagerly awaiting the next one. Ana Huang's characters burst with life, and I find myself devouring her books far too quickly. In this instalment, Xavier, a billionaire playboy, epitomizes a life of indulgence and ease. Sloane, a powerful publicist, is tasked with keeping his family's reputation pristine. Xavier flirts incessantly, charming his way under Sloane's skin until she opens up about her troubled family background. It's beautiful to witness her vulnerability and how their romance sweetly unfolds from there. I absolutely loved that Xavier appreciated Sloane for her personality and "flaws," rather than focusing on her physically. The effort and care he invests in her are genuinely touching.“Just shut up and follow me,” I snapped, wishing I had a wittier reply.“Yes, ma’am.” His cheeks dimpled. “I love a woman in charge.”------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------“You would rather watch a rom-com about a witch and a plumber falling in love than attend a costume party with celebrities?”“One hundred percent. As long as I’m watching it with you.”Sloane Kensington is more than a character; she's an icon, a legend—she is the moment. Her relatability, from her insecurities and coping mechanisms to her emotional depth, struck a chord with me. Her family was infuriating, yet she transformed that adversity into strength, emerging as a fiercely independent and resilient woman."King of Sloth" was one of my most anticipated reads this year, and it completely lived up to my expectations. The banter, tension, flirting, pining, and romance were all pitch-perfect. It might just be my favourite book in the Kings of Sin series so far. Now, with a year to wait for "King of Envy," I'm already buzzing with excitement. Ana also masterfully connects characters from previous series, enhancing the depth and enjoyment of her storytelling universe. Plus, the cameos from the Twisted series added a delightful touch. Addicting!
Ana has done it again! This was was definitely my favourite in the series so far, Sloane and Xavier were on another levelSloane and Xavier were everything to me. Their chemistry was absolutely scorching! Xavier's development and growth were, in my opinion, very believable and well done. His character was a breath of fresh air, and I liked how he wasn’t written like your typical MMC. The way he lightens around Sloane and she makes him more focused, and how they heal each other's broken pieces it was so good, they are just the perfect fit. This book shines the spotlight on Sloane, the ice queen of the group. While she's always been portrayed as aloof and distant, this time around, I found myself seeing things from her perspective. She maybe be ‘grumpy’ but that didn’t define her and she definitely had her reasons, I feel even calling her grumpy isn’t correct because she had a troubled past that gave her a penchant for keeping her emotions in check, Sloane resonated with me on a personal level.Xavier, on the other hand, is the polar opposite of Sloane. He is the epitome of laid-back charm, and radiates sunshine. With his carefree attitude and stupidly charming dimples, he's like a breath of fresh air in Sloane's meticulously ordered world. But he too had a past he was hiding from and feelings he didn’t want to feel, and they both brought those emotions out of each other in the lost beautiful ways. With a fun addicting plot and Ana’s steamy scenes, this book is a perfect romance! I loved seeing all the previous couples and the little details about the Twisted couples. I cannot wait for the next book!

I had high expectations
I think when I came across the plot, it felt like it would have a lot of potential but it fell flat. I’m personally sad about it because I was just expecting so much more because I love this series.

I love it!
"King of Sloth" by Ana Huang was one of the best books in the Kings of Sin series.Let me be honest with you, after seeing Xavier’s behaviour throughout the Kings of Sin series, I thought there was no way he could become the man I was expecting him to be. But, God… I was so wrong. At the beginning of the book, Xavier is, well… Xavier, but he grows on the reader.Ana Huang didn’t let her readers down. This part of the series is full of surprises, love, grief, and self-development.It shows us that anything is possible if you set your mind on the goal.

Pretty Sweet!
This was definitely my least favourite of the series; I didn’t feel half as connected or attached to the characters, nor their traits. I actually really prefer the type of smut between these 2, but it felt like it didn’t play out enough in their actual relationship at times to make it really attractive for me. Overall, still a really great read.

another great story!
4 STARS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️TROPES:forced proximity 💙he falls first ⏱️grumpy x sunshine 💙billionaire romance ⏱️interracial romance 💙"our live's weren't perfect, but here, together, we were at peace."well this wasn't my favorite king of sin book in the series by far the book was still exceptionally good. but i will say sloane has to be one of my favorite girl's so far throughout this series. i find i can somewhat relate to her. from her fiesty attiudude to her caring persona she was much different from the others. at time's in this book i really wish i had her confidence! 👏🏻and dont forget about xavier the hottie colombian dude. 🥵i found around the first 40% of the book wasn't my favourite. slow yet not very intriguing. it hadn't really caught my attention very much but then the further on i went the more interesting it had became! you could really see the character developement for xavier, how when he and sloane started dating and also finding out about the will changes from his father. he smarted up his act no longer acting 20 when he was almost 30. (by goofing off and making headlines everywhere he goes getting into trouble)not all books have to end with getting married, having baby's or even proposing. at that's what i liked about this extended epoilgue. they didn't get married, or have any baby's (yet) and no proposing happened. because maybe that wasn't in the card's for them but i find it's always nice not to end a story every single time with those achievements! but i did find it so cute that she got him a chocolate lab like he had when he was a kid. that made my heart so happy! 💗・゚° pre-review 💙 —> hoping this meets up to my expectations because i’m so freaking excited! 01/05/24

A captivating tale of love and growth
King of Sloth is another hit from Ana Huang, perfect for readers who enjoy a well-crafted, emotionally intense romance. It’s a story about overcoming fears, embracing love, and learning to let go of the past, all wrapped up in a beautifully written package. Highly recommended for fans of contemporary romance with depth and heart.
