Athletic Supporter with Cup Pocket, Jock Strap Protection, (Cup Not Included)

Based on the product image and some reviews, I was worried this wasn't going to be the same quality as the version included with the cup. What I received was identical. Fit, comfort, and quality are what I expected. This has worked very well for sparring, with no discomfort or drift, even after over an hour of training.

Well-made, athletic supporter. I purchased this for my son and he has been very happy with it. It seems to keep the protective cup in place much more securely than the compression shorts with a cup of pocket. As a catcher, these are great because you’re bending down and moving around and they provide good support We are a big fans of Shock Doctor products as we have found them to be very well-made, durable, and wash well. Keep in mind that this Support does not come with a protective cup. We have found that the cup that is normally provided with any type of support garment never seems to fit well. I like that we can save the money and purchase one that is more to our liking.

What can I say, it does it’s job. I have the version with cup pocket to protect myself while playing baseball. I’ve used this product for 6 seasons without issues, although I average 1 new pair per season with approximately 30-40 games per season. I’ve not had any issues with them ripping too soon, as they last about as long as I’d expect them to. They are tight, as with most compression gear. I like this, as it keeps everything in place. With the tightness, I do not dry them, and expect the elastic to go at some point. This is the first season where I’ve had to replace them mid season, although I’m playing twice as many games this year. No biggie, a cheap fix. Overall, 4 stars for comfort & lasting long enough as I don’t expect a lifetime of use from them.

This is the second one of these cup holders I have purchased for hockey. The previous one is still going strong but needed an extra as I play multiple times a week. The waist elastic is very wide and pretty compfortable and the leg elastics are not too tight. The previous one has been used at least 100 times without elastic failure, so definitely a good value for the money if you need a cup holder.

Well, it holds everything in place. Pretty great after the old snip snip. Haven’t worn it playing ball, just during ball recovery. It’s light and didn’t seem to get all out of wack in the washer.

I really, really like this in combination with a shock doctor cup. This is way, way better than the product I was using before. I am on the line between medium and large, being 5'9" and 160, and I went with a medium size because I wanted this to be pretty snug for Krav Maga / Muay Thai / Boxing training, and it fits great. The cup I use is the steel one and it's a bit heavier, but this keeps it right in place. Read the label and hand-wash immediately and allow it to air-dry after use and I don't think it'll fall apart like some other reviewers have witnessed. You just need to take proper care of it and it'll last. I'll update if I have problems with it later, but I think I am going to order 1-2 more so I don't have to wash every other day or so. Great product.

I have purchased four of these for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training. Cups have come a long way--the flexible sides are awesome. I definitely prefer the jock strap version over the shorts version--with the shorts version, I feel like the cup moves around too much, which you DEFINITELY do not want. Stick with the jock strap. This brand might be a bit more expensive than some, but they've always served me well so I keep buying 'em.

Fits as intended

It's a great product. If you use this product during high intensity workouts or sports, you'll avoid a lot of shocks. I highly recommend it.

Les élastiques de ma coquille étaient détendus donc elle ne tenait plus très bien en place (ce qui peut être dangereux...). La partie dure (la coque) était toujours en bon état donc pas besoin de tout remplacer, ce qui est possible grâce à cet achat.

This is perfect for cricket and far better than any compression short with a cup holder. The cup does not move when batting or running between the wickets. Don't think it gets better than this.

Keeps the crown jewels safe (when a cup added). Need I say more?
