I purchased this product so that i could hook my phone up to my car and play audio without needing a AUX cord. I plugged this into the usb port of my 2012 buick regal and connected my phone to the Bluetooth receiver both very easy steps, I cannot complain. However, when I try to play audio from my phone it will play a second of that audio and then stop and start again. It would be equivalent to constantly tapping the pause and play button. Additionally, the Bluetooth receiver would occasionally loose connect with my phone every 5 minute period when the phone less than 1 ft away while it was "playing" said audio.If your thinking of purchasing this product I'd simply have to advise against. Although installation was easy, this doesn't perform the primary task that I would expecting it to do. Poor quality, this has not met my expectations and I'm more likely to avoid this vendors product.

It kept cutting out during the streaming

When it turns on it talks for a second in a cute Asian accent while connecting. Wanted Bluetooth in my car for a long time and this was a perfect solution. (I plug the output of this into a cassette tape adapter and play music from my phone using the tape deck in the car.)

Purchased this to add a Bluetooth capability to my 2004 Odyssey that only has a cassette player. Plugged this into a USB power source and used a cassette adapter attached to the auxiliary jack. It sounds great and I have Bluetooth without replacing my stereo system.

Nice product. It worked well. I had no problems with it.

Initial setup was easy. However the connected alert became very annoying very quickly. It announces in a full sentence that the Bluetooth device is connected; however, a simple chime would be more appropriate and much less annoying. Also, there was severe engine noise being played through the connection. Even at $10 it's overpriced.

I have a Mazda 6 that has the old fashion radio with mp3 CD player, non Bose. I wanted to go hands free, since my standard stereo has a USB connector. This module does allow me to connect my cellphone via bluetooth to this USB dongle, which let's me hear my music, originating on the phone. However, there are periodically, small micro-second drop outs of the music. Also the sound quality is BLAH! Now I cannot blame this on the dongle, because the stereo that came with the car just might be crap and unable to produce better sound. Also, my usb connector is enclosed in the center console, which may weaken the bluetooth connection. Another USB adapter had the same issue. So I still consider this a good unit, but I'm going to have to replace my entire stereo head unit to get the quality of sound I want.

I like to stream music at work, and I recently switched to a new iPhone that doesn't have an earphone jack. I plugged this device into a usb port on my desktop, plugged my Logitech speakers into this device, and I was able to stream music through my phone again.I'm not sure why a lot of reviewers are slamming the sound quality of this adapter. I'm streaming with it from an iPhone 7, to my computer, and then through my Logitech THX desktop speakers. The sound quality is excellent. There is no difference from when I had THX speakers connected to my old iPhone via the earphone jack.One special bonus with this device is that every time your phone connects to it, you get a female Chinese voice coming through your speakers that says,........."bwoo-toof device success-foo-wee connected'. It make me laugh every time I hear it.
