How do I prepare the food for my pet?

Mix two parts water to one part formula and stir gently until a fruity paste is created in the Blue River Mixing Bottle or shallow dish. One tablespoon is appropriate per animal, per feeding. More water can be added to adjust the consistency.

How do I store prepared food ?

Mixed food can be kept in a sealed container in a refrigerator for up to 7 days in the Blue River mixing bottle or a sealed tub.

When do I remove uneaten food from the enclosure?

It is important to remove any uneaten food from the enclosure after 24 hours.

Do I need to add supplements to my pets diet?

Blue River Diets include all the nutrients needed, so no need to add any supplements unless advised to by a vet.

Should I still offer live food?

Live food should still be offered to encourage natural behaviours, allow exercise, and offer mental stimulation. Locust, crickets, silkworms, and dubia roaches are excellent choices for crested geckos.
