Solid and affordable! Perfect for the job.
This switch does exactly what it says it will perfectly. We recently upgraded our home broadband to be faster than 1Gbps to 1.6Gbps. With that, our current home networking equipment only supported 1Gbps, so we needed a faster switch to be able to enable those faster speeds to a few specific devices we wanted to be able to access the full 1.6Gbps. This switch has been the perfect device to enable us to do that, with the dual 10Gbps SFP ports, I've been able to connect a 10Gbps uplink from this Binardat switch, to the Unifi UDM SE main router we have, with our internet coming into that over an existing 2.5Gbps WAN port. Then with this connected via that 10Gbps link, I've been able to connect up the 3 devices we have that support 2.5Gbps connections. (2x Windows PC's and 1x Caldigit TS4 Dock) Since connecting it up, I've tested the throughput speed between two devices connected to the switch using iPerf and registers a consistent 2.3Gbps which I think is pretty reasonable, especially at the price point comparing to other 2.5Gbps ethernet switches on the market. This has been perfect for what we wanted to achieve, a still primarily 1Gbps home network, but with a few 2.5Gbps compatible ports for those few devices we have that support it. I would strongly recommend this switch if you're in a similar situation just wanting to enable 2.5Gbps for a few devices!

Good With 1 Issue
I am currently in the process of starting to rebuild my network at home, starting with a Ubiquiti Unifi Dream Machine Pro. I have 2 servers which I needed to transfer data between and sticking at 1Gbp/s would have taken over a week to transfer, so I knew I needed to speed it up. I also wanted a 10G link between the upstairs and downstairs of the house which at the moment has not gone to plan but will eventually. I as a 3rd "want" wanted to put most of the pc's in the house on 2.5Gb connections for faster backups. So when I saw these as having 2x 10G SFP+ ports and 4x 2.5Gb RJ45 ports I knew they would do the job for the most part. I ordered 2 of these, 2x QSFPTek 10G SFP+ cards, 4x RJ45 SFP+ Transceivers and installed them, the transfer speed of data is great between the servers, and other pc's in the house. I am getting a full 2.5Gb between my main day to day pc and others on the network, I can transfer from all 2.5Gb pc's to the servers on 10Gb connections and get a full 2.5Gb from each pc consistently without dropping of speed. Then I ran into an issue, it would appear these switches do not like to mix Optical and Electrical, I was able to obtain some 10G SM LC/UPC SFP+ Transceivers and some LC/UPC patch-cords, I connected the Dream Machine Pro to the downstairs "Binardat" switch via two of these Transceivers and then put my Unraid Server on them as well, suddenly I was unable to transfer any data between the pc's and the server, swapped out the LC/UPC Transceivers on the Unraid server back to the RJ45 ones and hey presto I could transfer data again. I am waiting for a order of the same LC/UPC SFP+ to arrive and I will swap out all the RJ45 ones for the LC/UPC ones and try again and update the review. Apart from that, these switches are amazing value for the functionality that they offer and the speeds. If you just need a basic 2.5G switch with 10G SFP+ ports, you cannot really go wrong with this.

Works perfectly
Solved my network problem in the house, would recommend if you need to run high speeds away from the router

For easy home internet expansion? Yeah, sure. Not if you have really fast internet though.
It's ok for the price. That's probably the only good thing i can say about it. Yes it has 2x 10Gb ports, but if you try to use both at the same time you'll find only the first one works. Yes it has 4x 2.5Gb ports, but they don't go anywhere near this speed. At the best of times you'll be lucky to get half the rated link speed. Is it good enough for your basic home internet? Yes probably, i've had it running a while and it hasn't failed or needed a restart yet. Is it good enough for really really fast fibre? Definitely not. So if you have a lot going on in your home, kids, phones, etc then i wouldn't suggest this at all. Spend a little more and buy something with a more power. If you're paying for fast internet you want to be able to use it.

Very Small
Look great but very compact Biggest issue is it loses setting So may work then if you have to restart maybe to move the device the config disappears Very frustrating

Incredible value
These are fantastic. I have 3 and about to order number 4. I don’t know what people are talking about regarding the fan. I have never heard a single noise from any of mine. Honestly for the price, the quality of these devices is remarkable and its future proofing with the 10gbps SFP ports. If you are looking at buying one of these, don’t hesitate. I can’t imagine this ever being a bad buy for anyone.

4x2.5G + 2x10G unmanaged switch - works well
There weren't any reviews for this particular switch, so here you go. This switch is for those that need to convert a couple SFP+ 10G connections to a small number 2.5G or 1G RG45 connections, and are okay with an unmanaged switch. It's a good way to start experimenting with speeds beyond 1Gbps without spending too much. Construction is all metal, and it will take a few minor bumps without issue. It comes with a wall-wart style power supply for North American outlets, four rubber feet one can stick on, and an unhelpful quick start guide. This is an unmanaged switch so don't expect anything fancy. It does do what it is supposed to for a reasonably price (as far as these devices go). For my purposes, it's a win. I tested all the ports using iperf3 and they performed as expected. Testing from 2.5G to 2.5G (or to SFP-10G) I saw rates between 2.3 and 2.4Gbps; and going from SFP+ to SFP+, I saw rates around 9.4Gbps. Diving deeper....the switch passes VLAN tags just fine, even though it doesn't understand them. For SFP/SFP+ compatibility, I tried a generic 10G DAC cable, a generic SFP-10G-SR transceiver (coded as Intel), a generic SFP-10G-LR (coded as OEM), and a QSFPTEK SFP-1G RJ45 transceiver. All worked just fine. It supports both 1G SFP and 10G SFP+, and has an LED indicating which is detected. It has a small switch on the front labeled "Default or VLAN". This doesn't have anything to do with 802.1Q VLANs, this is a port isolation switch to prevent traffic between 2.5G ports. I did not test it, and most people will want to leave it at the default position. If this fits your needs, it's worth consideration. I'm happy with it so far.
