I couldn’t put this down when I started reading it. Would be excellent choice for a book club.

A real page turner! I enjoyed the series Gavin and Stacey that was Ruth Jones (the author of this book) was also co-writer of. This book, though not a comedy, had a compelling story and interesting characters. I enjoyed it so much that I bought a copy for my stepdaughter for her birthday. Highly recommend it!

Excellent read a roller coaster of emotions, I would wholeheartedly reccomd this book and also the other three books which proceed it.

Excellent second book from Ruth Kones

I loved this book. I've never read Ruth Jones before (but I've watched her TV programmes-Gavin & Stacey), which I love, but will definitely consider buying another of hers. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was a real page-turner! I was so engaged with the characters that I just had to keep reading. You felt for each of the girls in turn as they faced their individual crises. I really love Ruth’s style of writing. She draws you in and really gets you interested in every character. Funny, sad, and every emotion in between! If you're thinking about reading it, do it. You won’t regret it.
