This laser level has been a big time saver in installing a wall mounted squat rack in a garage. The floor was uneven so everything has to be leveled and measured at least twice, but with this laser level, it just cut the time substantially. It was very easy to use with 2 settings for locked or unlocked position. The locked position just keeps a straight line so that in can be used as a guide when aligning things such as pictures along a wall or stairway. The unlocked position is used so that it helps in levelling and keeping things plumb. The light flashes every few seconds to tell you which mode you are in on one of them so you know. Very easy to use straight out of the box and very accurate as well when lining up where studs are found during my project. Overall a great buy for the price compared to other more expensive ones that perform the same function.

I purchased this item for a remodeling job and used it for setting up the ceiling and laying of the tiles. I received the item in a well-packaged box and a handy carrying case. Batteries were included. Set up was easy by inserting the battery and pressing the on button to the top of the unit. The item is self-leveling has a lock slide feature that was especially useful for angle layout! The unit will not switch off until the slide is placed in the lock position which ensures the unit is locked for storage and transport. There is also an activated two-year warranty on the box. Accuracy was checked with a high-quality box level and was found to be spot on. Overall very satisfied with the product and would highly recommend it to all! Love it!

Seems to work good especially for the price. My only complaint is I cant pick which lasers I want on. For 90% of the work I will use it for I only need the vertical dots. But there is no option to turn off the vertical and horizontal line when I dont need them.

Extremely impressive value. For reference, I purchased and returned "Bosch" laser level to the local big box store after I purchased this one, because the Huepar actually was $10 cheaper, plus had 3 extra features: the plumb laser, the auto-balance lock, and a green laser (which are typically brighter than red). To get the same features from the store would have been literally 2x what I spent on this level. Overall, the level seems to be accurate and feels solidly made. I love the plumb feature, which I've used to mark areas for pendulum & canned lights on the ceiling. I've not used the cross lasers for any practical purposes yet, but did test for accuracy and didn't notice any problems. I really like the self-leveling feature on slightly uneven surfaces/tripods, and the fact that you can lock/unlock it. I've not tried to use the laser outside yet, but it's very easy to see indoors on a 20-ft ceiling. The only odd feature is the fact that you have to first set the auto-level feature to "locked" in order to turn the laser off. Had to actually read the manual to figure that one out ;) Not a big deal at all of course, just something that wasn't super intuitive.

This laser level projects very bright vertical and horizontal green lines. Both lights come on at the same time -- you can't pick one or the other. I noticed this at first, but can't imagine why it would be a problem. The self-leveling feature works, as does locking the lines for manual adjustment. I've used the plumb dots more than I expected. They are extremely useful when laying out things such as ceiling lights since you can do your measuring on the floor instead of on the ceiling while you are balancing on a ladder. And, if you have vaulted ceilings, the plumb dot feature saves you from having to do some geometry. I also like that the level must be locked to turn off. This will prevent me from turning it off but leaving the self-leveling mechanism loose to rattle around and potentially be damaged. The small stand that comes with the level is ok. I wish the level came with a clamp to attach to ladders/doors/etc. like some other brands, but overall I think that this level was a much better value.

The Laser Level is rather amazing, and I've already used it for many projects. Its ability to lock and unlock has come in quiet handy. Unlock the balance to let it free-swing within the housing and it'll self-level so that you know the vertical line is always plumb and that the horizontal line is always flat and level. But if you just need a straight line and it needs to be at some other angle, lock the level and you can manually tilt the whole device so that it puts the straight line right where you need it. In one of my first projects with this great gadget I measured and hung up a bunch of my old cartridge video games, and the Cross Line Laser level made it very easy to keep it all straight and true. I've included some photos to show what I mean. I highly recommend this tool for anyone's tool-box, just remember that you have to lock it before it'll let you turn it off (a safety feature so it doesn't get damaged between uses).

Might be user error but I am an electrician and use levels daily, I’ll better test this out this coming work week but currently after receiving the laser and testing at home seems to differ about a half inch from start to finish which can lead to slanted light tracks for the kind of work I do. Being green and having plums ide still say it’s a good bang for your buck. ***edit Did a test with putting far left and far right of laser on same spot, seemed to line up, the laser is very visible , magnet on mount are solid, I have no complaints one week in. I will trust it as a commercial user.

Strong light and easy to use.

It does what it's supposed to, but it eats batteries like candy. Strongly recommend getting a model with a usb charger instead of battery powered. Don't be cheap like me, the slight price hike is worth it.
