I haven't used it yet but unpacked and tested operation. Seems like this is much beefier than other solder kits and is packaged well. Needed something that is more portable because I do a lot of structural wiring where a outlet for a wired device is not always available. Update: I used this the other day and now wonder why I didn't get one of these ages ago! The quality of the kit is very good and I'm not afraid of it starting a fire in my shop as with some other cheap kits.

if you’re looking for a good straight butane torch the lights well and has good customer service is the one you want. I know on two of them and there is no questions asked about the one I’m having replaced.

Worst thing I have bought in a while, I got it months back but just got around to using it today so I’m sure I can’t get a replacement. It won’t light on its own and when you turn up the gas flow it is very minimal, hardly any flame. If I turn it down to 3/4 open the flame goes out, it has to be at 100% to keep a flame. As you could imagine it takes for ever to get hot enough to melt solder and cools so fast that you can’t really use it once you do get touch a piece of wire! NO GOOD!!!!!

This is a tool that I did not know I needed in my arsenal. I originally bought it because it was wireless, but I have already used it for many things! The exacto tip is perfect for cutting PLA filament for 3D prints, which is what I purchased the tool for. But since then, I have used it to solder, reactive dried heat glue, and used the heat gun setting to remove adhesives and dry wet components. I can't wait to see what else this little guy can do!!!

Works well, but not super easy to fill. When i try to fill with a butane can, the unit sprays butane all over from the fill port. Some gets into the unit, but I would get almost half spills out. Also doesn't seem to store the butane very well, probably a very slight leak somewhere. I fill the unit, leave it untouched and come back and there is no or very little fuel left. In use, the unit is okay. I wish the unit was just a little bit hotter. Doesn't seem to solder super well, and the heat gun function doesn't blow much heat very far from the unit. I have to get really close for a little longer than I would like to shrink heat shrink tubing. Unit is cheap, hut I guess I got what I paid for.

You get what you pay for. The product looks to be of good quality, but the price had me second guessing. I took the chance and quickly found out why it was so cheap and that’s because it’s built cheap. First time I tried to fill it with fuel it leaked out the sides of the tank where the plastic seams are. There is no way of tightening this. You can use the product if you put very little fuel into the tank. Pretty much just fumes. But doesn’t really last long enough to do a good job soldering.

I am using it for wire soldering and it works fine however, there is a bit of problem with the sliding on-off gas key which doesn’t stays on easily and gets disconnected . I can’t replace it because I am not in US now.

Works well and is very easy to use case is kinda flimsy but over all it is a great value for the money spent!

Did not use product right away as it was for a future project, when I went to use it it the butane leaks out of the valve on the bottom. Unfortunately it is passed the refund and return date. Test product when it arrive to make sure it works.

Did not light Want to return but the only UPS drop off is over an hour away So not worth the trouble I even had the extended warranty on it A waste of money
