I'm using as decoration and I love it!

A beautifully illustrated and fascinating book. As well as Including a lot of what I would regard as art it also reveals the extraordinary antics of some who regard themselves as modern artists but who totally fail to convince me!! I'm not saying who is right! That is for each individual to decide for himself or herself!!

This is a wonderful book. Sumptuous and joyful. I have an MA in art history and studied this area in particular. The art history establishment was scathing because it is not sufficiently theoretically critical. This tells you more about the arid Puritan perspective some art historians feel they need to deploy to justify their intellectual credibility. It's a very good book!

I was astonished at the amount of graphic nudity. Not a book to leave around for the youngsters to peruse.

Well loved by my daughter, opening up her art-mind!
