Considerable grip and flexibility, happy with results from this time

Bought 2 of these Continental Mountain King 2 and these were the worse tyres I've had for fitting and replacing, plastic tyres lever wouldn't do it had to use old metal fork handle to lever them off. I would say that the tyre bead is smaller than it should be. I've had Continental tyres before and I do rate them as good tyres and will buy them again only next time it will be direct from the maker. Not sure if these tyres supplied were defects/rejects or what but definitely sub standard. Won't buy again from here.

Using this with some Easton UST rims, seated easily enough, but two pinholes in the sidewall mean't I've had to put 8 oz of sealant into the tyre instead of 4 oz (and it's still not survived a full inflation yet, fingers crossed). I've been using orange sealant not continentals brand, but that shouldn't make a huge difference.

Pro's... decent tread, decent price. But side walls are v-soft and mine had a couple of pin holes in !?!

Didn't get Tyres as promised?

This is the second set of these Continental Mountain King II tires I’ve had in my mountain bike. They perform very well on dry pack as well as on moderately wet and muddy trails. On very thick sticky mud they don’t clear themselves of mud quite as well as I’d like but for the price they are excellent all-around trail tires.

Amazing tire, performs well on trail and in wet slippery conditions, would definitely recommend tire to others and is good for all purposes
