Bought this for my work-supplied IPad. It is very nice and makes me feel like Indiana Jones!

This bag was an excellent value. Although there is not much space inside. You’re able to store small items but papers are books that are 8 1/2 x 11 do not fit. Excellent value for the money.

First off, when I was younger, I was a leathersmith - cutting, tooling, lacing, hand-sewing and forming leather - making everything from belts and wallets to holsters and chaps. I can no longer do that since I have arthritis in my hands, but I am very familiar with how to make quality leather items.The item was tightly taped into plastic, which made me a bit uneasy about moisture in the product. Sure enough, when I unwrapped it, the leather was damp to the touch. Not a deal breaker, as leather can take some moisture. I also discovered that several of the rivets showed signs of corrosion. Again, not a deal breaker as these can be polished up. I did not notice any mildewing, which means either the leather had not been damp long or it was treated, which brings me to my next point . . .The bag has a pervasive chemical smell, which is not overpowering, but is very noticeable - even after being aired for 24 hours. And, after handling the bag, the odor remains on the hands until some time later or I wash them. I hope this will fade with time. It is definitely NOT a leather smell.Finally, the bag is not sturdy. When you make an object such as this, you make certain areas stronger and thicker to hold up to wear and stress. Because of its designed use, the shoulder strap will not hold up long. The attachment points for the strap are actually lighter than the strap itself - the thickness of leather I would have used for a liner instead of a stress point. In addition, the rivets are too close to the edge of the straps in several places to give them much support.I will use this item and give updates on how it goes, but I am not holding my breath.

The bag is nice and seems to be well made but it definitely smells like old vegetable oil, also the rivets were all corroded green but it wasn’t hard to scrape off all together I think it is worth the price I just hope the smell goes away

Do not have a negative thing to say about this product. Bought it as a range bag for my Colt 9mm and its perfect. I did not give it a full five stars for traveling because I will really not be traveling with this much and if I was I would like to see the strap be a little wider for weight distribution. But its awesome and if you have any doubts just buy it. You will always find a use for it.

I love this bag, it's greatly crafted and holds my 11.5 inch tablet perfectly!I love the goat leather as well, I know it says it was already oil treated but I added another coat of my own to give it a darker look.

I would not recommend purchasing this product. The bag that I received was of low quality and had an overwhelming leather smell. The bag had many small marks and indentations as well as what I can only assume is oxidation on one of the buckles and some of the studs. One specific issue was the strap. The strap has loops meant to hold down the end of the strap, but the loops are too small and the width of the strap cannot easily fit through. The loops are so tight around the strap that it took me multiple minutes to force it through and now that the strap is through there are wrinkles where it is bunched up. Overall, the bag is of low quality and I would recommend finding another bag.

This is an awesome bag. It is just big enough to carry essentials. I would have preferred that the straps ben camouflaged for snap closure, but it is what it is and it is great! I get many compliments from both men and women. And, you cannot beat the price for a leather bag!
