I have finally decided to prepare some podcasts and maybe webinars for business and did some reasearch what I need to start. Te repeted advice was to by a proper condenser mic. I was browsing amazon and came across this one, at reasonable price with the characteristics I was happy with.It arrived quickly and the assembly instruction was pretty much straight forward. I did however have some problem with making it work on my MacBook.Finally, after some head scratching and internet search found how to do it. For other Mac users here it is:Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner and go to system preferences. Click on Input and then attach the mic to USB port.WAIT.WAIT.WAIT.The mic will show in the list, click on and you are all set.I did recording with internal mic and the Lefon to compare and was actually shocked with the quality of sound! Wow! This mic is very sensitive. I will now make sure my room is all quiet and windows are shut, as you can clearly hear the traffic noice in the second recording. I’m very pleased with it, especially for the money I paied!I would recommend it! Great purchase!

Getting really bad buzzing with this mic. Tried everything- even powered off WiFi and Cel devices. Buzzing/humming persistent.

I do a lot of work with microphones and this microphone is acceptable for anyone interviewing guests on a podcast, hosting a youtube channel, and recording voice memos. It delivers good sound quality, but it is a litfle unswttling to people on a skype call when they see in microphone in front of me.
