Wooden Tortoise Enclosure, Indoor Tortoise Habitat with Detachable Legs, Turtle Cage for Reptile

This is horrible. FLIMSY! none of the screws lined up. Took me over an hour to put it together and then had to take half apart again because it was not working. Then then the topper is that the tray only works on the wrong side. The hinges are broken and now stripped. What a joke.

I bought this for two small tortoise and is a perfect size for them. It was easy to put together and all holes were predrilled except for the bottom piece of the hinges and bottom locks although I had no issues securing them.. The wood is soft so keep that in mind when putting it together. There is a gap between the tray and the front panel so since I am using dirt I will have to put something in the habitat to keep the dirt from coming through the gap. All in all I am satisfied with the product.

Obvious giant crack from the manufacturer build. Roll the dice on this one!

Cons:1) The sections you have to put together come pre-assembled but at least one of the sections I got in my kit was put together incorrectly. I had to remove the end of one of the panels, flip it around, and reattach it so that the holes for the other sections lined up.2) The wood is extremely soft. Although the wood in my kit was not split or damaged, know that you can only put a screw into one spot once. If you remove the screw, the wood is stripped and won't hold the screw any longer. You may want to reinforce everything with wood glue during assembly.3) The plastic protectors on the plexiglass are impossible to remove cleanly because the edges are under the wood frame. I finally cleaned it up by taking an xacto knife and gently scoring the protector where it meets the wood frame and then peeling it away with a pair of tweezers.4) The wooden arm that is supposed to hold the light is too low to hold a light with a hanger (like the zoo med lighting kit). I plan to flip it the other way so the long part of the arm is vertical, but because the wood is so soft I am not confident it will actually hold the weight of the light over time.Pros:1) The feet that attach to the 4 legs come with adjusters so you can level the enclosure and keep it steady.2) The structure is light enough to move with ease.3) The tray on the bottom has a heavy plastic liner and slides out easily. The divider in the enclosure doesn't reach the bottom of the tray, precisely so the tray can slide out. One brick of eco earth substrate pretty well filled the tray (it isn't too deep), but you could add slightly more.4) The wire mesh on top is very sturdy and well attached. For now I am just setting my lighting rig on it directly,Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and it works great for my little turtle. He has plenty of room to grow.

I have spent 2 hrs looking at the build book and what I am dealing with. I know how these should be set up this is my second one. So 2 pieces are pre drilled incorrectly I know where the tray should slide in. I am going to have to modify. (Hope it works) because even as a Prime member i only have 30 days. This is crap. Not everyone gets an item and sets it up in 30 days and if its not good quality we are stuck with it. Very frustrating. Stop selling crappy products and OVER CHARGING. over Amazon consumer.

Cracked wood, flimsy plastic, dowel holes don't line up. Feels like it's ready to topple over any second without anything inside of it. I don't feel safe putting my tortoise in this.

Not worth the money, it looks like I got a one which not balance after installing all legs, Some panels are not correct holes to install, had to adjust. The wood has some piece of broken lines. Looking around for a better one.

I don't even know where the seller got such cheap wood. The wood was so soft that it cracked when I put a screw in it. The top part is distorted, it is angled incorrectly, and the enclosed sleeping area does not reach the bottom of the habitat. I really don't like spending over a hundred dollars on something like this to save you money. Not recommended to buy!
