I didn't really see him put it together. I only saw everything you could make with it and it was the first of it's kind so I had to buy it for a big kid I know. He's 50 years young.

I’m on the fence with this one. The prep time that’s required to just be ready to build your first robot is pretty excessive. I bought this for my 6yr old and she wouldn’t have made past sorting the first bag of parts. We’re talking a couple hours to sort, label, and trim all of these tiny plastic pieces. I don’t know many teenagers that would have the patience for all that.Gathering all the necessary pieces to finally assemble the robot is also a lengthy process. You have 9 bags of miscellaneous parts. You need something from every single one of them. I suggest sorting them another way. Going through every bag to pull out 1 or 2 tiny pieces of plastic is a real hassle.I guess my only real gripe would be the amount of time involved in setting it up.The instructions manual is well illustrated and easy enough to understand. Being able to build 30 different robots is pretty cool. As well as having the option of solar power!It’s a neat kit with a decent price point.Would recommend with caution.

grandson ten year old did a good job of assembling this toy in about a hour

I ordered this for my daughter. She was given a small lego kit for her birthday and really liked it. So got her this because I thought she would like building and also seeing the robot go. And the fact that this has multiple robots she can build different things. It's allowing her to follow instructions and being very patient doing it. Using her hands and it's keeping her busy. Prefer it over screen time. She loves this. Great stem toy and good price.

It came 2 days late, but it was very well 📦 and I appreciate all the help I received from customer support. He is enjoying his gift so much. I will definitely be ordering again.

felt like the brush had come loose inside the motor. Could find no way to contact seller so I found and bought one on Azon. If a 10 year old can put this together I would be very suprized.

My 4th grade daughter is into stem. Seeing all the small parts she was overwhelmed, but with me there to support she became more receptive to tackling the task.The instructions are easy to follow. She was able to separate the pieces into small bags. This project is a Saturday at home activity. We're looking forward to seeing the finished product.
