This is actually an amazing product, I’ve had my OG Astro a40 TR for absolutely years and the original ear cups and head foam were starting to deteriorate. The clamping force was also considerably low on the old kit. The quality is exceptional, you’d expect it to have the Astro tag on it, it’s that good! The price is debatable, if I knew how much it cost to make then i may not be saying that! The quality of audio is also improved as they don’t leak sounds like the original Astro stuff. BUY this product if you have an old Astro A40 TR that needs a facelift!

Amazingly better than originals!! The muffs were so soft and cushiony. The description of the muffs were right on! My son was so happy with the feel of them. Everything fit on perfectly.

I’ve had my A40’s since probably 2016 and the paddings were like a worn out mattress. Just terrible. I don’t recall my A40’s being TR but they have the magnetic pieces for the ear padding so I bought these replacements. No issues what so ever and the headset feels great on my head again. I went with the cheaper breathable material, I’d suggest spending a little extra for a better feel instead of the breathable material.
